“A great, hidden gem of a bait and tackle shop! My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed stopping by here on the way to Beltsville lake to get some fat, juicy nightcrawlers which landed us a ton of bass that day! The owners were very accommodating and gave the kids a nice tour of their shop and different types of bait. On the way home from the lake, my youngest son asked if we could stop by the shop again just for fun!”

“I am new to the hobby, and John went out of his way to find me some obscure cards of retired players who I want to personally collect. The shop itself is exciting to visit, with a variety of different cards and memorabilia to buy or just admire. It is a great source for Phillies cards. Parking is abundant.”

“Took my wife and kids to get paint and ending up staying for almost an hour painting. My 4 y/o had a blast the guy working was so patient, gave the kids minis even tho they where out of the mini of the month! Really welcoming atmosphere and the employee was helpful and accommodating. Overall great experience. Will be back.”

Would have liked to get a bit more for my silver 1984 Olympic coin, but I understand he's running a business and I don't fault him for it. I got cash in hand for an item that was collecting dust. I hope someone gets some use and enjoyment out if it.
Had a nice little chat with him about the downfalls of selling on online platforms like eBay.
Asked permission to take the coin out of the plastic case to inspect. He was honest about the other coin not being silver, which was news to me. Even let me keep the case, since all he needed was the coin.

“At 7:53pm I bought 9 batches of flower stems for a project. The lady at the register along with the manager, Will, were the sweetest. They provided great customer service! I've noticed their boss Frank and other managers like Tina and Chris are all very hard workers. There's also this very sweet and helpful young lady named Michele who I sometimes see when I come in as soon as the store opens. I love shoping here and all the hard working hands with big hearts are what make Michaels a lot more than an arts and crafts store ?”

“This place really is a hidden gem. Very unassuming, but it’s like a time capsule for old school, real hobby shops. Their stock of model building supplies is really good. All kinds of plastic kits of all genres, Balsa planes, and lots of train stuff. If you don’t see it, there is a chance it might be in there somewhere. Yes, there aren’t stacks of RTR Athearn or Walthers stuff, but it’s a breath of fresh air with some kit boxes and plenty of new stock.”
