It’s a mega carrier. They chew you up and spit you out. Their training used to be good now it’s trash. I had the pleasure to deal with Coraopolis and Houston, Texas training and can say I caught them not knowing intermodal procedures at rail yards and not knowing proper Hazmat regulations and laws. Their communication sucks but is even worse among their divisions ( Van, Bulk, intermodal). Most of the Managers are morons and are not your friends.A trainer ( TE ) told me once that this company steps over a dollar to make a dime and I understand that more than ever.I now work for a private family owned company but anyone new to trucking beware of mega carriers and know the laws and regulations around your job. Just because Schneider says it’s policy or law doesn’t mean you won’t get a ticket and will be liable for it. Get your time in and find a company worth your time and effort.Don’t be a pushover!

Great place to work, everyone in the shop is extremely nice. People at the OC are down to earth and very easy to communicate with.Drivers are friendly.Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a job, weather it be in the maintenance side, operations, or driving.

This Schneider Bulk facility is both a Bulk Training Academy as well as a Bulk Operating Center. It’s not fancy looking, it’s not an owned property, but it does have a company car for company drivers to use, it has a TV lounge, kitchenette with ice and vending machines, very basic shower rooms, restrooms, a small laundry facility, and several Coraopolis restaurants deliver here. There is also a highly improved Maintenance facility now.The Training Academy is one of the best you’ll find in the Tanker carrier industry. Core values are Safety, Integrity, and Respect for All.

As OC's go it's not the fanciest. No car but they'll usually allow a bt into town. At least they did in my day. Plenty of delivery food around if not.Good, quality training for anyone wanting to learn how to pull a tank. Never put me out when I was scheduled to be home. Made moves they didn't have to specifically to get me home. All in all a good driver and safety culture. No one gets rich at schneider but bulk drivers make more than van and get paid for everything they do. Some of the specialized deliveries can be a pain but you're paid for everything so a hustler will try to get those loads.I'm not driving anymore but I always suggest schneider to guys that want to get their start. Out of the mega companies I felt they had the higher commitment to safety and training and like I said above, they never messed with my home time.

Always dirty, no company car , 3 public showers and they are out of towels usually, outside there is no asphalt neither gravel so when is raining get prepared for 2 inches of mudd and when not just dust is flying around , just one washer and 2 dryers . Probably one of the worst OC’s if not the worst .

If you ever need help, don't walk, run over to Ron. This guy will bend over backwards and forward to help you.

All of the Training that you gave me... I ran Quite a few loads for the Company... One thing though... I got Fired for a High Hook that I lat my driver manager know about... it happened at the Keasby OC... I didn't Damage the truck or trailer. And I coupled Properly them deliver my load on time but I still got fired for letting him know. Thanks for the training and not telling me I could get fired NO DAMAGE, LETTING MY DRIVER MANAGER KNOW THAT THE LOT NEEDED PAVING & BEING HONEST.

Extremely clean & organized facility. This OC is Schneider's finest at their best. Endless training and productivity. These professional hazardous tanker drivers spend their days honing their craft. Delivering the customers products with not a drop spilled!

This is the operating center to learn about driving a tanker. Being put in positions with a trainer, while in relatively controlled situations, gave me the ability to see and choose safe driving skills. Schneider is all about safety. When sitting on top of 45,000 pounds of constantly moving freight, safety has to be the first concern. I still kick myself a little bit for quitting. Enjoyed the ride while it lasted.

Great bulk instructors! I'm a 14 year driver and wanted a new challenge with tankers so I came back to Schneider(originally got my cdl in Carlisle back in 2004). The instructors had a ton of knowledge and I learned a lot in a very short amount of time.
