“Neighborhood shopping center that has pretty much everything you need. A grocery store. A couple of gems, a hardware store, a bowling alley, banks, drug stores, a smoothie shop, and other random businesses.”
“Just spent close to $400of HARD EARNED MONEY. Cashier said not one word besides asking if I wanted a upgrade to my membership. When she was done with me she handed me my receipt without saying anything or even smiling. What happened to business's thanking you for your patronage and the invite to return!!????
UPDATE 9/11/24
Recently went back to Sam's since my original post and was pleasantly surprised to see the change with friendly approachable employees! Besides, I like Sam's for their wide variety of inventory. Food, clothes, paper products, kitchen cookware and supplies, auto,eye, pharmacy, electronics, jewelry, etc, etc, etc. And it's nice that you can count on them not being out of what you go in for !( Unlike some other box store?)
I highly recommend having a membership to Sam's Club?”
“It's a really great place to go and have good time,go out to eat, plenty of shops to shop in , plenty of restaurants of any cuisine,some bars if your Just wanting to go have some drinks, Great place to take a date some places have live entertainment like City Winery,The strip district is a really great place to go if you're tired of the crazy people in central downtown business area ie. The crime, the homeless, the drugs ,the strip district is a safe enjoyable place to go to enjoy your time out without anything bad happing like central downtown tends to have frequently , Strip district is a worry Free place to go.”
“They have a Lego store. It would seem that they have their priorities in order. Seriously, very few empty stores. Plenty of options in the food court. Some stores that our local mall doesn't have but should see about getting.”

“Went there on a business dinner after we had an event there The waiter was absolutely wonderful very educated on the menu and treated us very well I was with Three Rivers business alliance and we thank you for the great food and great service ?”
“The mall is clean, safe, and conveniently attached to a Target. My only complaint is that there aren’t many clothing stores for women in my demographic (thirties, too old for Forever 21, American Eagle, etc., but not ready to shop in the granny department just yet). Stores I’d really love to see are J. Crew, Banana Republic, and Madewell. I’d have to go all the way to Ross Park for these options which isn’t really great when I have to work my way across the city with a baby to get there. With the addition of Von Maur, I hope there’s more for me soon.”
“Love this area!! My daughter and I made candles at Mix Candle Co, which was an absolutely amazing experience!! We had a blast and we will be going back again real soon.
We ate at The Cheesecake Factory after that which is one of our all-time favorite places EVER, the food is always amazing and the service is always amazing!!”
“Great small local mall! Usually go to Starbucks, Pottery Barn, or Williams & Sonoma. Try and grab parking outside. The inside garage parking can be a bit tricky and confusing. Also the lot in the front on Gilkeson is always a hassle. Easier to park on the side and walk a little bit.”
“Great place I stopped and got some Starbucks in Man. I took a humongous poop because I felt so comfortable when I use the bathroom there. It was so clean. Unbelievable place to eat. Use the bathroom get some coffee you know I’m just keeping it real you know absolutely some of you guys out there just don’t want to go to a dirty place in the bathroom and I agree with you. This is just like going at home. The coffee was amazing as well”

“Go here All the time and have nothing bad to say about it. Heres a list of the stores you'll find there: Giant eagle, marshalls, home Depot, sketchers, Kohl's and my personal favorite Ulta!! There's always lots of parking and it's easy to get in and out of. Also, there's an Auntie M's Pretzel truck that sets up shop in front of the Marshalls on Fridays-Not Year round -but it definitely should be!!”
“Caste Village has just about anything you want or need at one of the many businesses, shops, or restaurants. The shopping center is conveniently located at a busy crossroads in the Whitehall neighborhood, with ample parking, a Giant Eagle supermarket, a State Store, an extensive and affordable fitness center, a variety of popular restaurants, an amazing, large and friendly Hallmark store, hair salons, an excellent florist, stores of all kinds, banks, a mall with a Post Office, dance studio, doctors offices, AND, Princess Bowling Lanes with party space and catering available, plus cosmic bowling offered some weekends. Need I say more? Well, I can, because the Caste family provides free space to a wonderful charitable quilt making group called Project Linus. There are annual fireworks for the 4th of July, Halloween trick-or-treating for the kids, and other holiday events, as well!”

I do have to say Spencer's gifts has changed It's not the Spencer's gifts that it was in the 1980s and even the 1990s It's more like a porn shop now.
I do not recommend making the mistake I did by taking little ones into the store.
There should be some kind of disclosure on the entrance way stating that there are adult products in there and children should not go in.

“Perfectly situated between Brentwood, Whitehall and Baldwin. Lots of shops to choose from. Just keep in mind during the holidays. It gets a little busy in the parking lot.”

“Surprised that it is bigger than it looks from the road. This was the first time I actually shopped here and I enjoyed it. Off Fifth and Nordstrom Rack and two of my favorite stores and I recognized some of the products that I saw online. I will definitely be back and ready to shop.
Many other retailers, including Marshalls, so there are options. I forget the other store names but there seemed to be about 25 of them, with both indoor and direct outside access. It was not crowded, but comfortably busy and lively when I was there.
The one thing is that entry is odd if coming from the south. Must use a jug handle turn to access entrance. Then I did not realize that I had to go around the shopping center to get to the front to park as there is one way traffic from the entrance. No big deal. i uturned in the garage and found my way to the back of the center and entered these stores from there. Now that I know, I will go up one more entrance to enter from the side street so I can park closer and more easily.”
“A nice plaza at a major intersection in Bethel Park's suburban sprawl. Provides numerous businesses, gas, and serves as a junction between Broughton Road (and thus 885 and 51), and Route 88. A hot spot between South Hills, South Park, Bethel Park, and Mount Lebanon.”

“It's a very beautiful place it can be peaceful but it could be busy and for those that are old enough can remember that this place used to be an all framed amusement park that's right guys it used to be an amusement park before what it is now”
“I grew up in Etna, PA, a former mill town where residents primarily worked at Spang Pipe Mill or Carnegie Steel Mill. Although the mills are gone, the Spang Pipe Mill buildings have been repurposed and now house new businesses. “Southland shopping center has a number of great stores and three places to eat Subway, Panera and Texas Roadhouse and a buffet in the actual strip mall and several uother places on Rt. 51, across the parking lot. Beauty shop, beauty supply store, Joanne Fabrics, Harbor Freight, a new gym facility, and other small stores. Also, Fresh Thyme. Well maintained and close to many other businesses on Rt 51.”

“Nice little spot. Well maintained. Difficult to get in-and-out of from a given direction. Turning left in has you fighting traffic coming out of a stop sign, going faster than they should. Turning left out has you fighting with the same traffic, and trying to fit into the left lane of a two-lane traffic path.
There's also not a lot of space to do all of this, so things can back up relatively easy. Though, that's little reflection of the actual plaza or businesses themselves.”
