Cranberry Mall is a retro style mall from the early 80s with gorgeous aesthetics, fountains, and a clean, well-kept interior. It is a good, safe place to walk indoors with family, described as a quiet and pleasing mall to walk through. There are still places to shop, including a Maurice's, a good Sports store, and a really good pizza place. Some reviews note friendly and helpful staff. However, the mall is also described as sadly dying, with many vacancies. Several anchor stores, an Asian place, movie theaters, and other shops are closed, leaving only about 8-12 places operating, some of which are social and health services. A major point of criticism is the horrible parking lot, noted for deep potholes that can damage a vehicle's alignment. While it has potential and is seen as an enjoyable shopping experience by some visitors, it is largely viewed as an almost completely vacant mall that is no longer thriving.
