Left a review on the Wexford branch about 5 months ago. Previously had Mars bank which was above and beyond. After Nextier took over customer care is been subpar. I recently just got off the phone today asking them about a question. The lady had a snark attitude and didnt seem like she wanted to answer questions.

Our family was a valued customer of Mars bank for over 30 years. Their customer service and responsiveness was always top notch. Since Mars bank was bought out by Nextier Bank, the responsiveness of Nextier is slow to none. It takes repeated calls to get a response (or no response) from their loan department. Our most recent request to speak to someone about new car loans landed on deaf ears.I called twice and left voice mail messages for Ms. Potts to call me, but never received a return call.My first call was January 6, 2025. When I called again (3rd time) and asked for her direct line I was told I they could not give me that number. I was connected to her phone line and once again I had to leave a message. I hung up the 3rd time without leaving a message. It shouldn’t be that hard to speak to someone. Is there really only one person who can help discuss loans? I will say, this isn’t the first time we experienced slow response from their loan department.If you’re considering Nextier bank loans, take this experience into consideration.

My Fiancé and I just closed on a new home and Mars bank helped us do it. After falling into a rut with another lender, we were recommended to try Mars Bank. The very next day Shelley Hysong reached out to us and went through Everything. We are so Appreciative of their hard work and diligence. This honestly was a pleasure to do business with you. My family had 50+ Years of banking with Mars Bank, hit some hard times during the pandemic and had the means (new job- good salary) to pick things back up and they closed my account. I tried to apply to other banks but because of them I could not. Feel completely at a loss because of Mars Bank and will guarantee to tell every family member I know to no longer do business with them.

My family bank has become a disappointment. After many many years of working with mars bank during pandemic hardship my account was closed. I tried to reopen it after I finally accepted a very good paying job and was told they’d no longer be doing business with me. This mark made it difficult to open a new bank account elsewhere.

Our experience from day one with Megan Legursky and her team have been nothing but professional. She has keep us informed along the mortgage process and answered all of questions no matter how big or small. We love Megan’s energy, expertise, and friendliness. The mortgage department of Mars Bank is one of the best. Everyone is extremely efficient and friendly especially Debbie Hopper who went out of her way to make sure the mortgage process for us was smooth. I would definitely refer my friends and family here for their mortgage!
