I made an appointment to get my jeep inspected bc I did not want to wait long. I arrived a little before my inspection time, but was informed that there were 5 vehicles ahead of mine and that it would be at least a 3 hour wait. I thought: what's the point of making an appointment then?!??Thankfully it didn't take that long. But I did not appreciate being told it would.They told me I did not need brakes to pass inspection but that it was recommended. I opted out and sent my brother a copy of the report. He said it looked like I wouldn't actually be due for new brakes till this time next year! This being said, I also did not appreciate the attempted up-sale.Their waiting room was incredibly dirty. There was a Kuerig, but no coffee or cups. There was sugar and powder creamer both left open as well.This place is overall better than some garages I've been to but I wish they as a collective would do better.

Pep Boys in Cranberry is always honest with me and provides the services required within the agreed upon time frame. And I think it's the crew at this location thatmakes the difference - I've worked some of these guys for 5+ years and they have never steered me wrong.

PepBoys in Cranbery Twp is the best! They really care about, and give excellent Service, at a reasonable price. They are trustworthy. I am an Uber driver doing 200 to 250 miles each day which can beat up your car. PepBoys has been there for me, keeping both my Uber car, and our 2003 Lexus family car, on the road for several years.

Task: Oil ChangeReason for 5 stars: Recognized an issue, and owned up to the mistakeI took my wife's car in for an oil change. We picked it up a few hours later after running errands. I went 2 blocks and the oil light came on. I pulled over in a nearby parking lot and checked the oil. It had plenty of oil. I drove two more blocks to pick up dinner and the light went off. When leaving the restaurant with the take-out the light came back on so I went back to Pep Boys. I caught the technician as he was leaving and explained the situation. I suspected a pressure issue due to something not being sealed. I checked the oil cap o-ring and it was fine. He said they may have undersized the oil filter. and went back in side to get his tools.Sure enough, they had the wrong sized filter. The filter they normally use wasnt in stock and when cross checking the numbers to a different brand it got transposed.It took him 5 mins to resolve and I appreciate that he was willing to resolve it so quickly, owned up to his mistake, and didnt make excuses.That said, I did find out from another employee that he was the only tech there as the other techs didnt show up. They were slammed all day and he showed up and didnt make excuses. Props to him!I've had similar experiences at Jiffy Lube and they never owned up to the mistake and cost me more than the price of the oil change to fix the issue. Mistakes happen, we can all sympathize and appreciate the honesty.

My wife and 4 yo daughter were driving from New York to Ohio, but got a flat tire on highway during some coldest day. We were still 3 hours away from home. No other tire place within hour driving distance was open and had our tire size available on Sunday. We luckily were able to drive there in a hour with a donut which was scary in this terrible weather. They were willing to stay open later and check our tire for us, and ended up repairing our tire for free. We couldn’t be more thankful for such kind act. Thank you so much and we were able to make it home that same day.

They need to wipe off the sealant used to seal tires to the rim - I thought the rims were damaged when I got home. Turns out, I needed to scrub them to see they weren't harmed.

Pep Boys in Cranberry was fast and efficient. I liked that they sent me a breakdown of what needed done during my State Inspection so I could see before they even called me. The made recommendations but were honest about what needed done now and what could be done at a later time, not trying to pressure me into doing anything unnecessary. I very much enjoyed my experience there and will be doing back.

The manager Dallas and the service advisors are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and willing to help out in a pinch! I completely trust my vehicles with them and will continue to do so.

Worst experience, not worth the price.Car was dropped off on a Friday night for tires and alignment. Saturday around 2pm, I was called and told there were no cars in their lot that matched the size tires I ordered. My husband called back and they said they couldn't find my car. Really, the car was there, they just used the key (the battery is dead) and when the car didn't beep, they "couldn't find it", so instead of looking for it, they called me and caused panic, we thought my car had been stolen. Then, after they found my car, we called twice to check on the status, because they weren't updating their "app", they were unsure if it would even get it finished that day. We couldn't get through and showed up at 6:45 (they closed at 7) and the car was not done. Then we asked how long it would take to do the alignment and they said we called and cancelled that. We did not and wanted the alignment, so we ended up having to leave the car again overnight. We called to verify what services were happening sunday morning and picked it up that afternoon. The manager we spoke with was helpful when we picked it up, but the rest of the experience was awful.
