I would not buy anything off the shelf, it’s pricey. I’m a pilot car and my mic went bad on a load, so we stopped on 79 and I ran over to buy another mic. He pulled out a regular astatic mic with no packaging and charged me $85 dollars. Wasn’t sure the going rate. Only found out later they cost less than half that. Still a little bitter about that situation lol.

Great guy over the phone and in person, he knows a lot about this. I appreciate his help in getting me the right antenna for the scanner for my bear tracker 885 that’s a CB and scanner. Will do business in the future!

So wood electronics is a great and very reputable store. Always respectful honest and helpful is always more than willing to help and never in any way scams if anything I have gotten things from him where he has probably giving it to me at cost. Absolutely highly suggest if you need any help with electronics you stop in or call he's always have a lot of his wife and goes out of his way.

Have had nothing but trouble since my and cousin and I bought radio's there. A so called"peak And tune" gets me nothing but non stop static and can't hear 10 ft in front of me. Tried to call to get it fixed but no return call. Complete loss of 300.00 I'd give 0 stars if I could. Not impressed

Call before you drive, because they might not be open during their business hours listed here on google. You know, like on a Friday before a holiday weekend, when people might want to buy a CB antenna for a road trip? Looks like a cool shop. I will be back.

I just took a Icom 746 pro ham radio board to have Jim to fix my backlight. No one else would take on the job. Jim repaired and soldered what needed to be done! Works awesome now. Couldn't be happier. Thank you !!

People like this are a great resource to the community. I went in there just to see what he had there and ended up leaving with my CB tuned while I was there. If you go, plan to spend some extra time BSing a little. Nice guy

Jim has worked with my family for more than 40 years in different areas of electronics. Hands down one of the nicest most professional guys in the industry you will meet. I honestly believe there's not a radio shop in the country that can compete with his expertise on all levels of radio and customer service. I will actually be in this week to purchase a new radio. And probably spend over an hour there BSing.
