“Late on Sunday, June 1, 2025 my tire pressure light flashed while I was traveling from Maryland to NY. Nothing was open nearby and I didn't want to risk driving that late in the day. So I got a hotel in Breezewood. After reading the great reviews on Yelp, I contacted Chance at RCR and planned to take my car to his shop the next day. Instead Chance came to the hotel parking lot early the next morning so I wouldn't have to drive on the tires. He checked all of my tires, including the spare tire in the trunk. He determined that the sensor was the problem and explained why it probably had occurred. He reset the low pressure sensor and I haven't had a problem since then. Chance is a very experienced pro who is also kind and honest. I can't recommend him highly enough.”
“LeRay is AMAZING! My daughter and I got stranded on 70 on our way through. Not only did he answer his phone on his day off but he purchased many parts that could have been needed to repair our car while he waited for us to be towed to him. Then he patiently worked hard at replacing our alternator so we could get back on our journey! He was such a kind and gentle soul that renewed my faith in the human race! Thank you, LeRay! “Amazing, kind people at this place.(Thank you Al!!) My engine light was flashing in my car right as I got off 70 in Breezewood and was about to get on the turnpike for a cross country move, my car full of all my belongings and my cat. I called around and was told to go to Fischers. I pulled in at 3:30 in the afternoon and even though Al was working on another truck, he heard my story and immediately started working on my car. I couldn't believe it! He tried for two hours, changing spake plugs, the engine coils, nothing was working. (My car had about 200k miles, it was time.) He helped me brainstorm next steps and eventually gave me the recommendation of the U-Haul guy in town, who also owns a motel, where I ended up staying, donating my car, and getting a rental to finish the drive. Al didn't charge me for the hours of work he put in (!!!), just gave me a hug, told me to let him know if I made it back safe, and sent me on my way. To Al if you're reading this: THANK YOU!!! You're an angel. Sorry I made you late that day getting home. I made it back to Indiana. Thanks for the recommendation of the Wiltshire, they were super kind and helpful to me there. And just thank you for being kind and making me and my cat feel taken care of. May you receive the kindness and generosity back tenfold!!”
