Derl Reichard Auto Sales opened in 1974 as Derl’s Exxon. It was located on Route 11 three miles south of Danville. Owner Derl Reichard started the small automotive repair shop with his last paycheck from his previous job, and a small tool box. Derl would pump gas for passerby's and eventually word spread about the great repair work Derl did, and business began to grow. In 1985 Derl expanded and opened Derl Reichard Auto Sales. Derl’s goal, to provide hard working people like himself with quality preowned vehicles at affordable prices. In 1999 Derl relocated his business to Danville where he is still located today, and although he isn’t repairing as many things as he once did. The goal to sell quality vehicles still remains.
