I have been calling for over a week now. Waiting patently. I rescued a dog that was going g to be shot. I have 2 autistic grandsons. The dog is very friendly. I just ha e enough to do. They promised if I kept calling back every 15 minutes they would take the dog. They lied.

I have had 2 cats neutered there. They take the very best care of the animals. Minimal contact to keep the area clean. The price is amazing! $125.00 for neutering, chipping, vaccinations, nails clipped and the people are very kind and explain everything when you pick your cat up. I definitely would give more than 5 stars.

Adopted a dog they claimed was perfect with other animals, would do well in a smaller apartment, was house trained , crate trained. Neglected to mention his crippling separation anxiety. I got him home we worked with a highly renowned trainer for 2 months until he broke out of his heavy duty crate burrowed a hole through my wall and almost through a door trying to get to our cat that he was dead set on trying to kill. When we surrendered him and explained the situation. We then were put on black list claiming we threatened the workers with just dumping him and we were irresponsible owners and didn't deserve to adopt again. Mind you the dog was healthy up to date on all of his shots and groomed professionally in our care something the SPCA neglected to do. They also changed his name and slandered us some more in the post trying to resell him also neglecting to mention his issues. Over all don't adopt a dog from SPCA, cats are fine, if you want a dog get it from a breeder or private party.

The staff were nice but they don't let you in the kennel. You look at the pictures of the dogs and if interested, they bring the dog out to the yard but the dog was so distracted by being outside that I couldn't tell if it would be a good match because the dog couldn't focus. They said they do it that way because the dogs get too excited but doing the way they are is producing the same result. I don't like the way the set up is there and doing it that way in the dead of winter is going to make it even harder

Very happy experience. They are kind and knowledgeable. They are patient with questions. The cats are actually in good shape which can be very hard to do. I can't speak highly enough of the folks we worked with in the process. Don't expect to take an animal home that day because this center prioritizes animal safety in the best way.

Prices are a bit crazy for the elderly dogs. If dog is approaching 10+ years i dont see why they aren't basically free. I'd love to adopt some of these older doggies to care for them towards the end of their lives, but its not justifiable when a 2-3 year old runs the same cost

I don't think the young ladies there know what there doing . I have an emergency situation and they said my dog didn't pass their test because you didn't want them touch his mouth .they said he was not aggressive at all but was afraid he would hurt himself . That made no sense at all . But they took his sister .

Such a wonderful time here looking for a new addition to our family. We found a great dog to call our companion here. He's doing great in his forever home and we are grateful to the people who work here in helping us through the adoption process

A truly a complete waist of time and money and resources. Tried reporting true animal cruelty and the gut that I talked to said no,throwing declawed house cats that have been inside cats the whole time out side without food or water, no that isn't abandonment and or neglect. So this place truly is another agency that has rules but those rules are to follow once in a while when it's convenient. I have seen this pattern become more and more, I think may start living it. Do what I want and no consequences do to laws only apply sometimes. Same laws I swore to protect and defend when I took a oath to
