I came with 3 huge bags of clothes, a glass vase and a nice picture to hang on a wall. When I asked how I could donate, the woman I encountered nicely said I'll get the manager. Out comes this arrogant African man that's just staring, you know the I hate Black Americans look! So I asked are you the manager and he nods his head yes as if I was bothering him. The lack of customer services prevented me from donating all my goods. I only left the vase and picture due to rudeness. No one even said thank you. I took my things elsewhere, Goodwill and Liberty Thrift!

I have been going to this location for years but lately I am taken back on the over the top pricing. Dollar store items that are priced at 2.99 and 3.99, and coats marked as high as 99.99, higher than many retailers where you are buying brand new. It has caused me to put many items right back in the shelf where they belong. Because of my job I frequent a Salvation Army store on Union Deposit Road in Harrisburg. The prices there have always been reasonable and they have a good selection of merchandise. It's well worth the road trip. This update is as of 12/2022. I'm permanently removing this location as a place to shop. All of their pricing is off the roof and in several instances exceed some regular price retail establishments. Used Sweaters for $14.99. That's price gouging and even on 50% off day I will no longer support this type of robbery.

We arrived about 20 mins before it closed. Dressing rooms already shut down. All my daughter wanted was to try on 2 pants. That's it. Obviously didn't want our business. Went to Goodwill and their staff was very nice and helpful. We also donated because obviously Salvation Army didn't want our business. Your customers pay you. Maybe remember that.

I’ve been here a few times mostly just to look around and browse but they always have a pretty good selection of clothes, household items children’s toys and little trinkets. I’ve bought only a few things from here including the two things I have posted which is a little trinket holder that has my birth month(June) on it and an Olaf stuffed animal since I love Olaf. Their prices are very reasonable too.

I found good t-shirts and a pair of shorts for my son, and there was a very nice older man that works there, who pointed out the things he was bringing out, and that some were new. I found a new bedding set for my son as well to go on his new bed. I really liked the man who checked us out, he said he was new, but he did a great job as well.

i was excited when i first walked in because its very big and has a huge mens clothing section compared to most thrift stores, but i couldn't deal with the prices. sweaters for 40 and 50 bucks? come on, we know you get it all for free and have a mountain of stuff waiting for space to clear. you guys are losing money by trying to price your stuff above internet market value. i remember when thrift stores were for bargains. i left frustrated and empty handed.

Disappointed in store. Their policy listed on internet is not what store does. They support many organizations that do not represent traditional Christian values. Sadly I can no longer approve of this organization.

I took a friend here a couple weeks ago for help. The lady who helped her was so kind. She was one of those people who radiate happiness and I couldn't help but smile while with her. They were serving lunch and insisted my friend take some soup. She's still telling people how good it was. It makes me happy to know that our poor and or homeless are being fed with such care.

Very THANKFUL for Salvation Army and EVERYONE who works within the Salvation Army community! They are all very kind, and EXTREMELY helpful during the Holidays! There's many different organizations that offer Holiday Help for those in need and Salvation Army is one of them! Thank you for ALL you do!!!!
