My 90 year old family member was discharged from the hospital with a partial hip replacement and was taken to St. Francis for rehabilitation services. I was extremely disappointed. The guard gave the ambulance attendant her room number. The nurse station did not acknowledge us as we entered to confirm anything, did not come to the room to secure her in the bed (I did it), they had no guard rails on the bed to prevent her from falling, although they were notified 3 days prior to arrival, and no supervisor was available to address the issue. I took her back to the hospital but ended up having to bring her home because she did not require medical attention at the hospital. What a completely disregard to patient care by St. Francis. I was totally disappointed by their lack of organization for the sick and the very unprofessional way we were treated. They never called after that to find out what happened or anything. Thanks for nothing, Edna Carr

St. Francis did a wonderful job taking care of my father. He quickly recovered from a knee replacement with the care, assistance and guidance of the nursing and therapy department. He stated the facility was clean and that the food was delicious. Thank you St. Francis !

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Francis Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare, where my grandmother had been receiving care. I was highly impressed with the level of attention and care that she received during her stay. The facility itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Clearly, the staff takes pride in their work and is dedicated to providing the best care possible to their residents.

My grandfather has moved into St Francis!! It's convenient. He is in the long-term care unit It's excellent care. They're very efficient. They take care of what needs to be taken care of. They're very caring. They have physical therapy and occupational therapy.they have an activity room for the residents, and they have lounges set up with big-screen TVs. It's clean, well taken care of and they have a good staff that maintains the property.

A great place for intimate and personal service!!! My grandmother was admitted last year and was rehabilitated properly with some sort of enthusiasm or something; as she still asks about returning to see the nice nurse who helped her out, to this day! Hope we don’t ever have to return but it’s nice to know such an accommodating place and people exist.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all! Safe yourself the heart ache and anxiety that you would go through worrying about your loved one being in there!!! Unfortunately I had to put my Uncle there a few years ago because he wanted to be in a Catholic facility! If I would have know what I saw the other day when I went to visit him, I was mortified!!!! He room stunk like feces and urine, he was in a hospital gown curled up in his bed with just a sheet and a plastic pillow with flies flying around him!!!. He mattress, if you actually want to call it a mattress was also plastic and has urine & feces stained on it that looks like its been there for months!!!! There was dried feces on his floor and up along his bureau. There were brown roaches on the wall and inside his clothes drawers!!! His closet was empty with no clothes in there, there were 2 elderly ladies arguing in the hallway ready to fight and the nurses at the station did nothing!!! There was 4 of them there and they were all standing around on their phones just ignoring everything that was going on!! he told me that he was scared to death and asked me if he had to stay there!!! I filed a report to the Board of Health, I called and left many messages for the Social Worker to call me, I also tried many times to get in contact with Director of Nursing but NO ONE has contacted to me!!! The receptionist answers the phone, sends you to whoever you want to talk to and the phone just rings and rings and rings, there is no voice mail to leave a message, there is none to actually talk to, especially the Social Worker and the Director of Nursing!!! This place is disgusting its dirty, and no one cares about the elderly in there!!! I am trying to get my Uncle out of there but it is not that easy!! so please DO NOT DO NOT send your loved ones there if you really love and care about them!!!!!!!

The nursing team was excellent and answered all of my questions and called me with any updates. The social worker ordered her the equipment she needed when she came home we were very pleased, and the Administrator was always there and always checking in on the patients. Would definitely recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about the team at St Francis. They ensure a welcoming environment for both their residents and their guests. Highly recommend all that this building has to offer :)

I would not recommend anyone out their loved one in this nursing facility , especially if they have dementia. There is a high staff turnover. Staff varies and is inconsistent. My grandfather at times displayed verbal aggression due to having dementia. Because they do not have a specific program that deals with this matter it will only get worse . They called my family and informed us that he needed a feeding tube because he was not eating and had stopped a significant amount of weight in a short period of time . I scheduled a meeting to meet with the social worker and his team because that did not sound right. Because of his behaviors they placed him on so many psychotropic drugs, which caused him to be extremely lethargic resulting in his inability to eat . I also requested an ombudsman to be involved. The social worker suggested that we place my grandfather in hospice care and assured us that it was not due to short term of his life but he would be able to receive better one on one care. Do not whatsoever place your loved on hospice care at the recommendation of the facility . Only a doctor at the hospital should make that determination. We came up with a plan. They saw that plan out long enough to make the family comfortable. Next ,they said he had pink eye, removed him from his room with another patient who was more alert and aware to a private room without our knowledge and said that he passed away . The week before they were talk g about CPR on case something happens , we asked them to take him to the hospital. They did not . We spoke with his doctor who said he did not need that type of care. His death appeared to be expedited. Please consider other options for your loved one .

This is one of the worst facilities to place your loved ones and I’m speaking from experience… The staff there is highly disrespectful to residents and even to each other ! .Most nurses doesn’t attend to residents. Most of the time there isn’t proper supplies for housekeeping staff to PROPERLY disinfect and clean for residents ( which I know from being a former housekeeper there ) I experienced co workers stealing from me there which I brought to my manager and I was brushed off and told that “ it happens all the time “ I’ve literally witnessed nursing staff ALLOW a resident to sleep in his own feces in bed and I’m not talking about an adult diaper … yes there was literal feces in this man’s bed. overall i would NOT recommend sending any one of your loved ones there for any type of care .
