Wouldn't answer any question bc 'we're closing soon' (they close in an hour from the time I called) and 'we're not taking any new patient'. Thank you for nothing!

Great place to bring your pet. They have competent employees and vets working there. I have been a steady customer for over 8 years now with my cat.

They call themselves a veterinarian hospital, but I called them during business hours and asked to bring my four year old Pomeranian in for an emergency visit, and was told I couldn’t without an appointment. I don’t think you should call yourself an veterinary hospital if you can’t take your dog there in an emergency. They are not a hospital, they are a veterinary office. I understand that in most cases an appointment would work, but when your four year old healthy dog, who is up on shots and routine visits, starts shaking violently and can’t use her front legs at all and you go online to find the nearest emergency veterinary hospital because your scared and would do anything to save her, you don’t have time to be calling places that portray themselves as a hospital when they are not. When you are in that situation every minute seems like a lifetime. Sadly she didn’t make it long enough to reach the next closest animal hospital, that actually takes emergencies. They need to drop the hospital part from their name and call their practice an office or clinic.

Dr. Harr and her staff took great care of my newly adopted senior Yorkshire terrier who needed a dental procedure. 8 teeth were extracted and the rest were cleaned and look new. He is like a new dog now! The staff are always good with my pets when I take them here.

Dr. Harr is amazing. She has been caring for my dogs for years, and the quality of her care - and her compassion - cannot be surpassed. She is kind, fun, caring, and talented. I will never take my dogs to another doctor. In addition, her staff is helpful and kind, as well. You can tell that the entire operation genuinely cares for animals, and they have MANY times gone out of the way to meet our routine and emergent needs. I feel safe and comfortable with all of my dogs in Dr. Harr's care, and I without doubt recommend her to anyone considering her practice.

If I could give zero stars, I would! Our dog was only 6 years old and wasn’t feeling good. My husband took him to be seen by his vet, this vet at Delmont Veterinary Hospital! They gave him some medicine, took some tests and sent him home. Still didn’t feel good so took back and asked if a dog could have a bladder infection as I think he is bleeding in his urine?! The vet ran with that and gave him some fluids and a shot of antibiotics. Vet said he should be better in a couple of hours. If not better by 5pm call them back. By 3pm still not eating so we couldn’t give him his medicine, husband called back. Woman said we really need to give him 24 hours to give time for the shot to help. This morning (3 1/2 days without eating at all or drinking much) my husband demanded they see our dog. After keeping him they called us and said we would need to take him to the emergency vet hospital. The vet there called us later to say our dog was septic…Long story short my dog didn’t make it. He had to be put down. Our vet at Delmont Veterinary Hospital failed at diagnosing and treating our dog. We had put our trust in this vet, as our dog was already an established patient there, to diagnose, treat and make our dog well again!Someone else posted that Delmont Veterinary Hospital needs to be investigated and I agree with their opinion! Our dog was healthy just like this person’s dog and now both of our dogs are gone!I wouldn’t take another animal here and because of this vet, placing our trust in them and having to put our dog down because of them, we will never own another animal again! Thanks for that Delmont Veterinary Hospital! They are the worst vets we have ever dealt with. If you love your pets don’t come here. I will make sure to tell everyone I know including social media about our experience!
