They are always so patient and gentle with my scaredy cats. And when one needed major surgery at his emergency appointment, they were able to operate on him within two hours!
They followed up to make sure he’s okay, and helped me with any post-op questions my anxiety generated.

“I love going to East Suburban. We've been going here for over 10 years. The doctors are very caring and kind. I always feel like they recommend realistic treatment options. I've tried going to other vets that are closer to me but the prices are in the same ballpark but never the same quality of service. I'd rather drive an extra 20 minutes and go to East Suburban where I know my dog is getting the best advice and care. Not just that but they have great communication skills across the board (phone call, email, and text). I'm very thankful that my animals have been able to go here not just for routine visits but also "emergencies" where we were able to get squeezed into an appointment in the same day.”

“Dr. Alley has been my dog, Roxy’s, vet for 15+ years. Last year she got extremely sick and we couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her. Dr. Alley has went above and beyond to help my dog (and I) figure out what the issue was. Diane, who works at the front desk, is also amazing. She is always so helpful in fitting us in and finding the best cost for the many medications that my dog needs. Donaldson Animal Hospital has always been there when we have emergencies and I am so grateful to this facility and their workers for being so helpful and caring to my fur baby.”

“I didn’t even think it was possible for a veterinary clinic to be so reliable, trustworthy and most of all loving and compassionate of our loved ones. They have intelligibly diagnosed and even saved our pets lives twice now (not to mention checkups and small issue resolutions) and have updated us and treated our little ones with the love and support we ourselves would want them to have in all those difficult, stressful and sometimes painful situations. Taking your sick or vulnerable loved ones to a stranger is hard. Five points in Alexandria makes it a luxury. “Fantastic, amazing experience. We brought our horse in for an apparent colic episode that was not cleared by our regular vet giving her fluids and medicine. Dr Burke was incredibly thorough and detail focused- he wanted to find the cause of her problems and not simply treat them in the short term. Other people have mentioned the cost- and the cost for medicine and treatments for horses are not cheap- but Dr Burke provided a breakdown of every single charge for care, and I have 0 problems with any of them. Horses are expensive but because of him we had a horse who was able to come home to us. Not only that, he knew how she took her medicine the easiest because he spent time and attention on her while she was under their care. I cannot recommend him enough. If you have concerns for cost, discuss them with him beforehand- I found no fault in their care, and their honesty. 10/10 - I will be coming back if anything further should happen for any of my horses- he and his entire team were amazing.”
“I am so absolutely thankful for the team at the Greensburg Banfield. My dog ate a box of chocolate covered raisins and we knew we had to get him to a vet. The Monroeville location was closed so we called here. They were so helpful in the whole process. The staff kept us informed the entire time and kept us notified it there was a price change, how our dog was doing and how long he would be there. From the receptionist to the technicians and doctor, I am so incredibly happy with our experience. Thank you, Banfield, for treating my boy like your own!”
