I own a small business in MI, and sent an order out to a customer which arrived at this post office. They charged the customer a $4.11 fee for a plain white envelope because they claimed it was too thick for the envelope requirements. Customer took pictures for me showing that the envelope goes through the designated slot and that there's nothing wrong with it. It weighs a lot less than 3 Oz's and meets the requirements for PWE normal shipping. Naturally, I refunded the customer $4.11 off his order from me so that he could pick up his order from this store. Complaints have already been filed towards this store from the customer and myself. I have never seen a post office do this before, but from looking at all the other reviews, it's not surprising. Now I'm just waiting for a call back from the USPS Refund Services to get my refund.

My experiences with the post office and the postal workers have always been positive. It’s a busy location, and they have been pleasant and efficient in all my dealings with them when I have occasion to visit. Their home delivery carriers have, in many cases gone out of their way to accommodate me.Moving several times in almost 40 years, I have had different carriers, and all of them at one time or another have demonstrated their dedication to their jobs by delivering to my door articles that could have been stuffed into the box at the curb. Lisa particularly went out of her way many times to get me the mail. Any negative experiences, none of which I can recall, are far outweighed by the over-the-top service provided on a routine basis. In addition to the positives mentioned, I find it a convenient location, with relatively convenient hours of operation and pleasant staff carrying out their jobs with customer satisfaction as their goal. I have only good things to say about the Delta Post Office, especially the employees.I consider myself fortunate to live within their service area.I am in no way affiliated with the office or the USPS.

The ladies at the post office are always friendly and helpful. I noticed that most of the bad reviews are old. Maybe there have been staff changes ? No complaints at all.

Worst post office around. Very Un-organized. They lose your packages. They send your mail to the wrong address often.

my problems with this post office have just been getting worse. Slips get put in my mailbox saying they attempted to deliver a package when I know they were not.(I work from home). ONE time I did see our lady pull in the driveway, my husband was letting our dog out the back door, he saw her pull in, he barked , and before I could get my shoes on or my husband could walk around she peeled out of our driveway. Sped off. I tried to chase her down, she was gone so fast. We have lived here 7 years and she knows my dogs are all very friendly. the weird part is the slips are always dated wrong (days before hand) meaning they get put in my mailbox days after the date on the slip. I'm always home so I would know if she tried to deliver them. I've called numerous times to get an explanation and they are short with me and say they don't know anything. I think she doesn't like getting out of her jeep. It happens to frequent now. I had a package get lost, I called, they said they would call me back in few hours with more information- they never did. I often ship things for my business and my package was sent out 5 days ago to be delivered to a location 30 minutes away- estimated delivery was two days and my customer still doesn't have her package. Tracking says "in transit" which means it probably just went out today. Ridiculous. The people at this office are LAZY. When you approach them with an issue, they are rude and short with you. They are only nice if you don't have problems with their service. Eventually you will. Unfortunately I have to deal with them for my incoming mail, but I'll be taking my shipping needs for my business to whiteford.

I live in Fawn Grove. Our Post Office is STILL down over ridiculous reasons but that is not what this is about. I had to visit the Delta, PA Post Office and after having to find it as I have never been there was one of my BEST experiences for a Post Office. I had a problem or two and they helped me fix the problem, was very courteous, and help make me smile over the experience that I have to have resolved.

Delivered a package to the vacant cabin next door. Keep insisting that it was left "on a stump" at my house. It sat out in the weather for 6 weeks. They're still fighting refunding the priority postage.

This post office has been nothing but trouble since moving to our current address. After repeated attempts to have our mailbox relocated from a five way intersection that isn't even located on the same road as our driveway, we were forced to give up. The women behind the desk are rude and a little too comfortable abusing their limited power over local residents. They have since delivered our packages to addresses up to 5 miles away from us, which they denied even after we found out the recipient of our package had opened it and discarded it when they didn't want what we paid for... and now today they refused to deliver a time sensitive package due to "natural disaster/weather" The snow here melted days ago, it was nearly 60° today... I wish I could share a picture of my mailbox to show the one little snowball I squished with my foot to check my mailbox. This place needs a serious restructuring in regards to its employees and their duties to the local residents.
