I've sent several old paper catalogs to ACA for restoration. They've always done a great job for a reasonable price and I've been very happy with their service. WOW, what a fantastic company! I hope they show a couple of the prints I sent in to be cleaned… Beautiful work they do and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Worth every penny you pay. What I learned is to ask a framer what they do with your work to frame. To quote the Executive Director Justin, he said, “When acidic backboards have been removed, they need an archival backing/lining to stabilize and flatten the substrate. This is standard conservation procedure.” Since the prints are 170 years old I feel they took beautiful care of the work! They treat you like family and truly care about your work. If you have work that needs to be done please call, you will be glad you did!

ACA did a fantastic job restoring a World War 1 death certificate poster of my great uncles. Very responsive and easy to work with. The document was water stained, had tears and pencil marks on it, and it now looks like the day it was issued. Thanks again for the fantastic work!!!

I took two pen and ink drawings my mother did as a teenager in the 40s. They were in very bad shape and the results greatly exceeded my expectations. I am thrilled with their work and highly recommend ACA!

Just picked up a photo type portrait which had holes in it from crumbling paper and was heavily mildewed. Wow. Shocking the difference. I would highly recommend them .Almost better than new!

I have not used their services yet, but Via their website I submitted a photo of a document that needed to be restored, and they respond within 48 hours with a general price point, and offer of a free estimate once they had the document in their hands. The tone in the email oozed with both professionalism and congeniality.

I am very happy with their work. They do a wonderful job of taking toned, dirty and 'splotchy' and otherwise damaged Japanese woodblock prints and restoring to mint condition. They also do a good job repairing small tears. I have used them to restore three prints, and 100% plan to use them again, and soon. The photos are of a print I obtained that had issues. I paid very little for hit. I now have a beautiful print. It now has decent value, even after paying for the restoration. As a bonus, Executive Director Justin Burruano and his team are nice folks. I normally don't give gushing reviews, but they deserve it. Also, as another reviewer pointed out, they are honest. If they look at it and know stains or whatever can't be removed, they will tell you, without taking your money. That means a great deal to me as well.You simply can't go wrong with ACA Paper Restoration.

I collect antique "yard long" calendars, and whenever I come across a really special one that desperately needs restoring, I turn to ACA Paper Restoration. ACA's restoration team, especially Justin and Clare are always there to help answer questions and provide needed details. I'm sure I'll be back yet again with another project! We had a lithographic print that was poorly framed maybe 50 years ago and suffered dye stain and acid burn on the front and back of print. ACA treated the print and it really popped with the paper turning out uniformly bright front and back and the colors in the image sparkling. We were very happy with the restoration.

I by chance found a rare old copy of Rimbaud's "A Season in Hell" which is a favorite of mine. The book Itself was in fine condition, but the dust cover was highly damaged--the spine was actually gone, only the front a back portions remained, though terribly brittle. Justin and his team of master craftspeople lovingly restored the book to the point where I can now read it and not worry about further damage. Amazing team at ACA!

Having work with this company three times, they saved the day twice. The third interface, the saved the day by just being honest enough to say "no can do safely". Never fun to hear, I would rather be told "no", than have someone wing it and experience a "fail", enabling the ruin of an artwork. Look forward to continuing to work with ACA paper restoration.

About a decade or so ago my father-in-law passed away and while my wife and I were going through his things, we found a letter written to a distant relative from Houdini of all people. We thought that was really cool and would be a neat thing to frame and hang in our den. Realizing that the paper was so old, though, we thought maybe we should see if it could be restored first. We found this place online and were NOT disappointed! They did amazing work!Flash forward till now. My mother-in-law decided to sell her vacation home in Florida, so we flew down to help pack up whatever she wanted to keep and bring it back to the area. One of the items she wanted to keep was a Salvador Dali print, but it was in really bad shape from having sat in the sun for so many years. I honestly wasn't sure if it was salvageable, but after my first experience with ACA I knew that if anyone could bring it back to life it was them.All I can saw is "Wow!" I don't know if the print looked this good when it was new! Amazing, amazing work. I am so excited to say that the Dali print is now hanging proudly in my mother-in-law's home, and the Houdini letter is still hanging in our den. Both are focal points in our homes that are great conversation starters when we have guests over. All the credit goes to ACA. Thank you, thank you, thank you for restoring these precious memories to us.Ask for Justin! You will be so glad you did.
