There are two issues with BMW. The first is the service I received at Devon BMW for a flat tire. I have dealt with Devon BMW for many years and during this time, the Service Department has always outperformed the Sales Department. That was not true with the recent experience. Service was poorly coordinated and the department was unresponsive in terms of phone service. They did not keep a mutually agreed to commitment and left me stranded for over an hour. I had to call Sales twice because Service would not answer its phone. Sales physically walked over to Service to get them to respond. I thank Sales for this. The second issue is BMW as a brand. I have driven BMWs for about twenty years and felt there was value and safety for the price. I no longer believe this is so. I have 19,000 miles on my 2022 BMW and I have had three flats in less than two years with all three runflats splitting horizontally just above the top rim. My former BMW dealer in the midwest has bought and outfitted a BMW just to service flats tires of its customers the volume is so great. When I took my car in at 12 noon to Devon on a Sat the service rep said that they had had four flats that morning alone. I was then told that this is all the Service Department does all day--change flat tires. When I questioned the Devon rep about this, he glibly said that BMWs are heavy and this is the price for safety completely discounting the dangers of a blowout when traveling on a high speed road. In my opinion, there is a problem with the brand. Servicing flat tires has become a major revenue center for BMW and the dealerships and neither appears willing to do anything about the problem. This is both dangerous and expensive for customers and is a violation of trust between loyal customers and BMW. The only option loyal customers now have is to change brands -- to ones that offer a better warranty and safer car.

I purchased a used BMW from Sloan BMW of Devon in January 2024. They provided an offer including specific kinds and lengths of warranties. I then counteroffered and told them the number that was acceptable to me. I went for coffee. When I came back, they provided a final offer that was in the ballpark. I accepted the offer. Several weeks later I signed into my BMW account and noticed that the warranty time frames were not what we had agreed to. I emailed my sales representative 5 times (3 of which he answered and said they would get back to me) and I talked with customer service online twice (and they said they would get back to me). There has been no action to resolve my issue or even to discuss it. So, in hindsight, what apparently happened was that in order to get to my proposed number they lowered the warranty protection and just didn't bother to tell me. If you need to buy a car from them, I suggest being very cautious because I do not feel I was treated with fairness or forthrightness.

terrible service I recommend finding a different BMW dealership for servicing. not only was the advisor not knowledgeable, they neglected to check all fluids on a routine maintenance and to kick it all off they called me three weeks later to tell me they had made a mistake in billing and I owed $800.

It's an absolute zero from me. Called to double check if a vehicle was available 3 minutes before pulling out of my driveway. I was told it is "still on the lot and still available" I proceeded to hop on the turnpike and drive an hour and 20 minutes one direction to be told the vehicle was sold earlier in the day and it was not available. Horrible way to run a business and sorry for the younger guy who had to deal with me pissed off because he actually knew what he was talking about. Regardless give your local dealership the business and save yourself the time energy and money from dealing with this type of bs.

On 5/2022 I purchased my X5 BMW and was very satisfied with the choice of vehicle I made, when February of 2024 came around I started to inquire about and extended warranty by way of calling the dealer to speak with a finance manager. I'm not exaggerating from February until the present day I have not been able to speak with a finance manager about purchasing an extended warranty. From leaving my name and number we with the receptionist 10 times to speaking with the general manager and being promised that a finance manager will call me back to sending a email to my sale person and as of today which totals 15 notifications and after calling again and leaving information on a finance manager voicemail I still have not received a call back. At this point it is way past ridiculous and it's no excuse why a simple return call to purchase an extended warranty has not been done yet. This proves that this place of business only cares about selling cars vs selling and assist their customers after a purchase is made. I figured dealing with a dealer out on the main line I would get better service but I see it doesn't matter where you go. This is my third BMW and don't think I will purchase another one each experience has been horrible. I'm not asking for anything ridiculous just a call back with a price for a warranty. I would expect much better service especially spending the amount of money you spend for a BMW. My Infinity experience definitely supersedes my BMW experience you can't compare the two. To use the excuse the finance manager is with a customer is not an excuse to not be able to return a phone call to another customer especially one who has purchased a vehicle from you. The loyalty program BMW offer is not a loyalty program it's a thanks for the check program and I see you when I see you. It's not that much selling cars in the world, no one is that busy in a 24 hour day especially from February and it's now May to not return a simple phone call. This is unacceptable!!! Great customer service goes way beyond selling a car. The goal is to keep customers not loose them especially over a phone call. I'm telling my story so that customers will know just because you buy an expensive car doesn't mean you will get a quality experience before during and after purchase. Go to where you're appreciated and treated like family not like a peasant after they get your money. Small red flags can lead to big red flags but it's the little things that go a long way.

I had a fantastic experience at the BMW of Devon Pennsylvania service department. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. My service technician, Lou, was not only informative but also understanding of my budget constraints. He tailored a service plan that met my needs without any pressure. Lou went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. I also had a positive interaction with Linda over the phone; she was sweet and understanding when I mentioned I was running late for my appointment. The option to pay online for convenience is a great time-saving feature. Joe, the shuttle driver, was friendly and made my commute hassle-free. Overall, the service experience was exceptional, and I found the pricing to be fair. I highly recommend the BMW of Devon Pennsylvania service department for their excellent service and customer-centric approach.

By far the worst dealership in Pennsylvania. (Across all manufacturers) Everything from communication to the level of service is absolutely terrible and a disgrace to the BMW brand. I made an appointment for Warranty work, took the car in to find out hours later that the part wasn’t in, and the car sat there for five hours. I rescheduled and was told that it would take an hour and a half to complete however the car wasn’t available till the next day with no communication until I reached out and asked since I hadn’t heard anything 6hours after the job was supposed to be completed. To then find out that the job was done completely wrong Displaying zero common sense, review of their work, or quality of service. Service representatives, notably Rich, failed to provide satisfactory explanations or proactive communication, resorting to nothing but hollow repetitive apologies. If you were looking for a dealership to service your car, please travel the extra 20 to 40 minutes. I assure you this will save you time running your car back to the dealership every couple of days because they can’t get their service appointments under control.

Had a routine oil change on 3/11/24 and I didn't receive any video or photos of the look over of my vehicle. My husband was waiting in the lobby for the car but no one communicated with him about the vehicle. In fact, when he saw customers who arrived after him leave, he went to inquire about the vehicle and was told it was ready. When he asked to speak with the assigned advisor, he was told that they were on the phone. When I received the standard text to the link to view the video look over of my car, nothing was there. When I responded communicating that, the advisor said “My apologies. We attempted to send video but appears there has been some type of system error not loading customer videos.”. I have yet to receive the video of my car and as much as we rely on those complimentary reviews to check the pulse of the car, this is the first time I’ve never received it and had this experience. It’s a very unusual experience for Devon and I hope it doesn’t happen again. Would really like that video of my car though.

Lou and the service team at Devon did a great job with my vehicle, sharing personal videos of work being done along with suggestions to help save me time on upcoming services. They always got me in and out with a loaner very quickly! Will keep coming here for all my BMW service needs!
