I had a expired Kohl's cash. Only by a few weeks. They would not honor it..and why not I earned it. It depends on the mood of the associate. Sometimes they will other times they won't .very disappointing.

Came here to use Kohl’s cash which was expired but still in grace period. Associate would not use it. Said it expired and even when i tried to explain it was in the grace period he wouldn't honor it. I told him to get someone else. He got cocky and said "o you mean you want to talk to someone else?" I said yes I do. When other unknown person arrived she said I couldn't use it off the app on my phone I had to have original green slip. Funny thing is I came to same Kohls a month prior with $90 in expired Kohls cash and this was done off my phone no issue or even a question on it. Instead of continuing to argue about it I accepted the way it was and paid. The problem I really have is the comment made by the associate to other employee at this time. He apologized to her and said “you know how they are”. I am a customer here with a Kohls card. I don’t know exactly what this statement meant but it could be taken a few ways. He is black, I am white. Was this a discriminative comment? Or was it just cause I was trying to get a coupon redemption that I earned and I made his job harder cuz he had to get someone because he’s not properly trained on coupon redemptions? Not sure but I am definitely appalled by this associates attitude toward me. He wouldn’t even hand me my receipts. I will not use this associate on any return visits to this location.

I used to love Kohl's but lately the clothing doesn't interest me, the deals are not quite as good and they changed their stores around. This Kohl's is clean but we just don't patron any Kohl's like we used to. It's not a bad experience or store just not for me/us.
