I love Sierra. A little more costly than Burlington or TjMaxx in my opinion, however, they do tend to carry completely different things (outdoorsy). Saying that, you can still get a much better deal than going to a regular store or shopping online. I've found some great deals here and have only had pleasant service.

I visited the Sierra store in Scranton recently with my 4-year-old son. He had a small toy police car and was playing on the floor near me while I was shopping. An employee came over and told him to stand up, saying it was “traffic” and he might get hurt. I understand the safety concern, but the way it was said felt unfriendly and unnecessary. My son is only 4, and I believe staff should be more patient and understanding with mothers who have small children. It’s not easy shopping with a toddler, and we weren’t disturbing anyone.
The store was not busy at all — there were only a few customers — so the situation could have been handled with more kindness. After that, I went to the register, and the employees there were not friendly either. When I asked where to leave my small cart, one told me to return it in the middle of the store near the mirrors in a dismissive tone. Even when I said “thank you, have a good night,” no one replied.
The overall experience felt cold and unwelcoming. I didn’t feel respected as a customer, and unfortunately, I don’t plan to return to this location again.

This place is amazing. Boots, clothes etc. Look here before going to the big name stores, you won't be disappointed

My first time at a Sierra, and I’ve decided it’s basically TJ Maxx’s adventurous cousin — the one who hikes on weekends and actually knows how to use a compass. Great prices, excellent products, and plenty of gear for outdoorsy types (or anyone who just wants to look outdoorsy).
Staff were friendly, the store was easy to navigate, and parking was a breeze. Overall, a surprisingly fun find — I’ll definitely stop back next time I’m in Dickson City.

I just love this store. There’s something for everyone and every budget. There’re affordable basics and many goods for more sophisticated palates. Wegmans organic store baked bread is my favorite thing in the world

Oh, Sierra—the black hole of bargain shopping, where time ceases to exist, and rational spending habits are replaced with an unstoppable urge to own three pairs of merino wool socks, a kayak paddle (even though you don’t own a kayak), and a tent big enough to house an entire soccer team.
You walk in, thinking, I just need a pair of hiking boots—simple, straightforward. Fast forward three hours, and you're knee-deep in the clearance aisles, debating whether you need another insulated vest or if that gourmet camping spice kit is really going to change your life. Spoiler: It won’t. But somehow, it finds its way into your cart anyway.
The prices are so good that they trick your brain into thinking spending MORE saves you money. You keep stacking items like a champion in an extreme couponing contest, only to approach the checkout with the horrifying realization that you’ve now spent half your paycheck on gear for outdoor adventures you have yet to plan.
And yet... you leave with a satisfied grin, convinced that you won at shopping. Did I need all of this? No. Was it a great buy? Absolutely. Will I be back? Without question.
10/10, would disappear into the Sierra vortex again.

Shipping is 2 weeks and they use fed ex but prices can't be beat.
