“For our 25th wedding anniversary, I (the wife) dropped many hints that I wanted an anniversary band. I used excuses like my existing set was wearing very thin, but the bottom line is I wanted more bling to add to my wedding set. It have a very unique design, straight line anniversary bands just didn't sync with it. I sketched what I thought would work and balance it out -- literally on a sticky note during a meeting. I took my sketch and ring to Jamie and he instantly gave me options and was willing to take my idea, enhance it and create a custom anniversary band. The chain stores just wanted me to reset my diamond in their bands :( Jamie is not just a jeweler but an artist. He gave me a very fair (and less expensive) price. And, even better, he worked with my husband between dropping off my existing ring and picking up my new and BEAUTIFUL set. I was happily surprised last evening when I opened that box, beautifully wrapped, and my vision came true. Happy bride for another 25 years!”
“I wish that i could give 12 stars to Laura. We had been having issues with our permanent jewelry. We got matching 14k gold Valentino permanent bracelets. One kept falling off, and we had to make multiple trips back into the store to get it repaired. Finally, after getting frustrated with having to come back, I decided to call the store and explain what had been going on. That’s when i was able to get in touch with Laura. We came back in for the final time, and she went above and beyond to make sure the weld was strong. You could tell it was a tedious job, but she didn’t give up and got it done right. She was understanding and empathetic to the fact that these bracelets aren’t cheap, and neither is diesel to keep making the drive back and forth. It means the world when someone puts in just a little bit of extra time and effort to make things right for a customer. You can tell she cares about the work she does and her customers. I am so grateful she was able to take care of us. I will gladly return to this location in the future and i am beyond satisfied & thankful for her service.”

“As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're transported back in time to a period reminiscent of The Waltons, only better! No review in writing can do this store justice...it's an experience, especially at Christmastime. Eclectic collection of "something for everyone". If you see it & you want it my suggestion is buy it. It's a busy store with a high turnover of inventory & some are one of a kind items. If you like it, chances are, the next person to see it will too. Not sure how the 1st reviewer could give this place 2 stars. That definitely doesn't reflect the several experiences I've had. I have a feeling he was frustrated & didn't give himself time to cool down. I live in NH & when I come visit Boiling Springs, I love stopping in to see what's new & reflect on the feeling of an era gone by.”
“Myself and my husband have gone into Kevin Bear Jewelers several times and have always been satisfied with the service we received. Beverly, who works there, is very friendly and helpful. If she doesn't know the answer she checks with Kevin to be sure that she is helping you correctly. It's great to have a local, reasonably priced jeweler in Carlisle. I like that they sell some beautiful pre-owned & consignment pieces. And I like that there is a place in Carlisle to get my watch batteries replaced for a reasonable price.If you are looking for a unique piece of jewelry, including wedding rings, stop by Kevin Bear Jewelers and see what he has.”
“Quirky store on Old Gettysburg Pike stocking mainly crafts from overseas artisans for which they pay fair trade, but they also support charitable causes within the U.S. Friendly staff who briefed us on the background of the store. Picked up some items for upcoming birthdays and also some stuff for our home. Well worth a visit if you like the unusual. Recommended!”
“NIce selection, decent service but they told me to use silver cleaner on my jewelery. I got home and read the care and warrenty booklet and it states to NO SILVER CLEANER OR HARSH CHEMICALS. SOAPY WARM WATER ONLY OR THEIR JEWELERY CLEANER. Come on get it together. Building these bracelets isn't cheap!”
“Wonderful experience!! After having a little luck at some of the other jewelry places that we looked at, we decided to give this place a go! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by many friendly faces!! After explaining what engagement ring I was looking for, not only were they able to give me exactly what I wanted they were able to do it an amazing price!! The staff is hospitable and kind!! I will be coming back here for all of my jewelry needs! I cannot wait to see my engagement ring when it comes in! The manager is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and well-versed in dealing with customers! All of the sales women that we met were very kind and understanding!
