What a great experience!! Jamie was a pleasure to work with, very friendly, professional and answered all questions I had at anytime during the week. The storage units were kept very clean on a well secured lot. Always felt safe going there anytime of the day. Highly recommend Columbia self storage if you need a place to keep your belongings.

My storage space was very clean and very secure…The few times I needed to contact staff, they were easy to reach and very efficient. That’s all it takes!

Administration is some of the best I’ve encountered anywhere. The facility is well-built but the snow & ice removal stopped at 3 to 4 feet in front of the West-facing storage units making it not a minor task removing the ice from the storage unit

Original review stated "Just okay" with 3 stars but is now down to 1 with further explanation below.Reason for 1 star:I thought it was over...Just today, about 2 or so weeks after my last interaction, they called my wife and left a VM stating that the account was 16 days past due and "they would like to help us". They are continuing to offer nothing in the way of satisfaction. I'm really not sure why they are calling my wife as she is not the account holder. This just further proves the lack of customer service, though, it may be poor communication skills instead but I'm really not sure any longer.Reason for 3 stars:tldr; A lesson in poor customer service at the cost of $100.I was charged and did not even get to see the inside of the rented unit. Two weeks after the initial charge I finally had all incidentals sorted in regards to the unit. I load up my vehicle and attempt to access the facility but the gate code did not work. I called the office to be told that a balance due. Needless to say, I was not happy and was quite frustrated and perturbed. There was no offer made for satisfaction... not a thing. No thought to allow temporary access. That would have been great and would have been all it took to make a happy customer. I had gone through the trouble of loading the vehicle with items to store. During the call, I was asked how much I was initially charged and was told it was a good price?!? I'm not sure what the intent was with such a comment being I essentially burned a $100 bill. They were told that I no longer want the unit (though I was not as pleasant) and the call was concluded shortly thereafter.

Have a few storage bins with this location and they are great. The staff is kind and helpful. The have a true controlled temp area. and they keep it comfortable, plus the space is clean.
