“As an SF resident, we all know how costly CA is to live in, especially in the big cities! No such thing as $1 no more, but this shop rocks! Many items for almost all of your needs & at very reasonable prices ! Fruit juices by Jumex is just $1.25 but in Walgreens in Sf are $1.69 + the ridiculous extra taxes. This place makes Grocery Outlet seem costly. The only downsides is the fact that items run out fast & it can get disorganized.”
“The best place for makeup brushes. I spent $25 on 2 from CVS and I got 12 for $15 at the Dollar ?. I also love the greeting cards because $8 for one card is ridiculous when most people throw them away. Also a good place for party decorations.”
“Easy to run in and out. Front of store has a little construction going on or something with yellow caution tape up but still can easily run in and grab everything that you need.”
“Every time I come to this dollar general I'm in heaven lol because there's so much more stuff to look at and buy than the other dollar general's in the area it seems like it is the biggest and the staff members seem to know how to order things so that it seems like they don't ever run out of something and 9 time's out of 10 if something isn't on the shelf then sometimes they have extra items in the back I also like this store better because everyone that works there seems so friendly and is always willing to help out a customer without any attitude or sly remarks under there breath and they don't have a mean mug on there faces lol like the other dollar general's around here”

“Fast, friendly, clean environment. Staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The Roscoe DG has a much better set-up than many of the others I've been in. The aisles are much wider and it's much more organized/cleaner. Saved 30 dollars with my two five dollar off (Saturday) coupons, combined with other digital coupons, which was super convenient and also helpful to my budget. It's a store I actually don't mind going into, unlike others, such as Walmart. I can spend an hour in this store easily, without all of the overcrowding and hostility from other shoppers that I experience in bigger stores. It's much more peaceful, like shopping should be. Sometimes I end up purchasing items I don't even need, just because I'm able to spend the extra time browsing. When I'm at bigger stores like Walmart, I get in and out as fast as possible. I only "browse" at Walmart online because the physical environment is just incredibly intolerable. Grateful for DG with an environment that allows me to shop in peace!”

“This dollar general is ran so much better then one closer to me! Today my cashier was Blake and he was so kind and you can really tell he works to connect customers. He was friendly with the guy before me and to me he even asked if the stuff in my basket was the discounted merch which it was and he made sure it took off the deals! He was happy and smiling which was so nice to see”

“Items are going up in price, but this is a wide variety store! They're fast at checking you out, honor their signs unlike the Dollar General not far down the road.
This is much better to buy from, than the Dollar General down the road because that store fails to honor their very own store 'sale signs' and refuses to give the sale prices when advertised.
Was a manager with clean, proper sale signage and she refused to give the sale properly there.

“Wow, I’ve never really shopped at the DG before. This DG opened next to my tanning salon. I happened to go in. It’s insane how much they have, not to mention how little you pay. I’m not saying you can find everything. However, they have a very large variety of grocery items & “stuff”. I have noticed each one is slightly - to very different. This is a good one to hit up!”
“As far as Dollar General is concerned, this one is fairly typical. The employees are personable and do their job without making you feel unwelcome, which is a jump up from most DG's. They need to work in recovery and stocking better. It's almost impossible to walk through the store without running into all the unpacked product waiting to be shelved. Its not super professional but it seems that most people have come to accept it as typical of these stores.”
“I haven’t been the store manager there in over a year! So to the last post thanks for the good laugh, because I know the corporate office laughed when you called in and used my name! I miss the coworkers and usual customers! I do not miss the way employees are treated. “Was very nice. I bought a large bottle of brake fluid. On the shelf said $2.85 and a small bottle was $2.50 which i thought was odd. So i went to the register and it rangup $5.75. I told her it said $2.85. She had another worker check it out. She said someone put it in the wrong spot and it was put under the $2.85. So she had to give it to me for $2.85. I was going to take the small one.”

Burned out lightbulb, garbage bags, processed grilled cheese sandwich, oatmeal, spaghetti O's, cornbread, fingernail polish, socks, curtain rod, dog food, tape, t-shirts, matchbox cars, and pretty much anything else you can think of then this IS the place. You can't go wrong at DG!”
