They close the service window for lunch. It's very inconvenient.

One of the worst post office experiences I have ever had. The employees don't know much about their jobs and customer service is horrible.

I understand that this is a difficult time for everyone but to be a government employee and be rude to the general public is not a good representation of who you work for. To be generally rude to an individual is unacceptable and if you don’t like your job or working with the public than maybe this is not the job for you. If it’s your policy not to place anything on your counter than have a sign, most public places have wipes or a spray to clean the surface after a customer. And the amount of what is being bought should not matter if it’s part of your function.

You have to tip them to get basic service. They like to use their postal position to extort people, Merry Christmas. (Postmaster John Ritz knows about this but choses to turn a blind eye, very unprofessional)The Donora delivery man/women are the worst, they are lazy and just leave packages on the sidewalk or make no effort to deliver them.! When they do deliver them they often times just leave them in the open to be rained on or stolen by the abundance of local drug addicts in Donora. You can call to speak with John Ritz the Monessen post master or Cindy the supervisor but I can assure you they will get absolutely nothing done for the customers benefit. John Ritz the postmaster is incompetent and he"s the reason the Donora postal service is so lousy. If you have bad service don't waste your breath complaining to postmaster John Ritz or supervisor Cindy. They will just play d*** and make excuses for their post office employees/friends. Ask to speak with john Ritz's supervisor, Tell them You actually want to talk to someone that cares about the quality and integrity of the postal service, because john Ritz sure doesn't!

I'm giving this post office 5 stars just because their full service window was open. All I needed was a stamp and the last two local post offices I tried close early every day. the post master was nice also. I liked the old school mailboxes in there too!
