The installer at this auto shop is awesome amazing does a great job and also does his best to make sure that you getting the right parts and doing the right thing to your vehicle. He is trying to make sure to save you money and make sure you're not wasting it on things you don't need and I appreciate is honesty integrity and his workmanship has been outstanding. He's worked on my girlfriend's CRV and my GMC Sonoma. We can't be any happier with the service he has provided us five stars all around

My 4runner was sent there for a oil change, then was told would also do the air filter and cabin filter, jobs which are extremely easy and even free install at other oil shops, so the bill went from $90 for a oil change, which is already expensive, to another $110 for 2 filters that would cost at most $25 and about a couple minutes of anyone's time, I have no idea where that price came from considering installing air filter and cabin filter is at most a 10 minute job. Very disappointing and would not recommend.

I've been using Awkar for 7 years now and Pat has been very helpful. He's gone out of his way to help me many times and I don't think you'll find a more honest mechanic. He's genuinely a nice guy who does great work. Recently I moved from Chester County to Montgomery County but I still bring my car to Awkar because of the trust & confidence I have in Pat.

I had tires delivered to Awkar, and installed at Awkar. From calling to schedule, through the work getting done, everything was great at Awkar. The waiting area was comfortable, and my discussions with the owner gave me a comfort level because I could tell that the owner has attention to detail. I think this is my new favorite independent auto service shop, and I will definitely be back when I need tires and other services on my vehicles.

I used Patrick's services numerous times over many years. He is the most honest shop in all of the West Chester - Downingtown area. If he sees a problem he'll let you know and show it to you, even making easy fixes and adjustments at no charge.
He does not go looking for other things to do while he has your car in hand like a dealer does, and his prices are great. You can bring a car to him and be confident he'll fix it properly with quality parts and at a better price than most places in the area. All those 5 star reviews are an accurate presentation of what you'll get from him.

Very bad experience. Got my Minivan brakes replaced twice in a matter of 9 months. Of course, was charged both times when they refer to the parts as premium rotor & pads with no warranty whatsoever. Within 5 months of my first visit, I made another visit as the braking caused squeaky noise and jerky motion, which was dismissed as they couldn't recreate it. In the next visit they changed the front rotors, and we were blamed for our driving habits which caused all of these issues. None of this solved the actual issue till I decided to go to Del Toyota where they diagnosed this to be the cheap aftermarket parts. I waited a yearlong after Del Toyota addressed the issue to post this. Just wanted to tell these guys that it's not driving habits, it's your cheap parts in play.

I recently purchased tires from an online seller and asked a friend who is a bit of an enthusiast if he recommended anyone local as an installer. He immediately recommended Patrick at Awkar.
I'm very glad he did.
Patrick installed my tires flawlessly, the gloss black painted rims are still pristine. He performed an alignment and was able to correct a camber issue that had caused wear problems on my front tires. He also replaced my brake fluid as I requested.
All this was done quickly and for a very reasonable price. He called me to describe the camber issue and to recommend several solutions at varying levels of complexity and cost, allowing me to make an informed decision.
I will be sure to give Awkar more of my business in the future. Its really refreshing to find an honest, knowledgeable, independent mechanic and escape the dealer service department.

The owner Pat is an honest, excellent, hardworking, reliable mechanic and man. Awkar has always gone above and beyond in customer service. Over 20 years all work was 5 star!!!! I have brought atleast 3 vechiles for repair induding my VW Rialta. I traveled 8 hrs for my appointment because I know I can trust that it was done right at Awkar!
