Do not take your car here for service. I took my 2023 Palisade in twice. The first time for oil change and tire leak. Oil change was done, was told tire leak was loose valve and it was fixed. Tire continued to lose air but I was fine adding air here and there. Took in for next oil change and asked about tire leak again. This time they told me it was a screw and I needed a new tire quoting me $620 for one new tire. I said no thanks, my car is less than 7 months old I’ll just put air in it. Meanwhile bring my car home and after a while noticed my car was leaking something, thought it was just condensation from air conditioner. End up noticing it’s leaving stains on my driveway and in my garage, so must be a leak. Decide to take it to another Hyundai dealership. Checked the oil leak and was told the crush washer was never replaced at my last oil change. Also had them check the leak in my tire again. They told me it was very small un patchable leak on the outside of the tire but quoted me $330 for a new tire. I opted just to continue to put air in myself but why was the tire half the price when both are Hyundai dealerships. I’ll be traveling the extra 20 minutes out to avoid this dealership for service.

I absolutely love the Hyundai brand. I love it so much that we purchased a top-of-the-line Hyundai Tucson Limited. During its first service visit, I discussed getting a tow hitch. The service person I will just call K found a really good price for me. I said yes I wanted it and how long would it take? She said a week I called almost 10 days later and she has said to me oh, do you want to order that?Whaaaaat?The dealership is crammed: you cannot get to the charging stations. It also look shabby and dirty. The people they’re really nice - just don’t expect them to do what they say they’re going to do.

The team at Colonial go above and beyond (especially Tammy!) I purchased a new car yesterday and everything was faster and easier than expected. I drove an hour out of my way to go to Colonial and it was worth every minute. Even after the sale, Tammy sat with me for at least 45 minutes to review all the features of the car.

I came to Colonial Hyundai because another dealership damaged my vehicle. The service staff here have hearts of gold and will go above and beyond to help customers. I have had such a wonderful experience interacting with the service team: Katie, Jo , Donna, Ashley have been extremely polite and accommodating to me. The service manager Mark Kay also moved mountains to help me during a difficult time with my car and worked with me to get a loaner vehicle in a timely manner. Despite not buying a car the sales team is also amazing and truly care about their customers. In sales Wesley, Anthony and Chad are amazing. If you are interested in getting a good deal reach out to either. Colonial Hyundai truly cares for its customers. They have won a loyal customer.

In all my years of buying cars, this will be one of the most memorable experiences we have had. The dealership was incredibly friendly to work with and not the least bit combative during the deal and really made the process stress-free. Joanne, Vincent and Dave made us loyal customers for life.

This was an amazing experience... from Anthony in Sales, to Vinny in Finance, to Chris, the Sales Manager (oh, and the lady in the Service Dept... sorry, I forgot your name - it was a crazy night!). I hadn't even planned on purchasing a new vehicle. My current vehicle "died" there Wednesday night and they let me keep it on the property until my husband could tow it the following day. I thought... why not take a peek at cars while I'm here? Anthony showed me some awesome vehicles and Chris printed out some price sheets for me to take home to share with my husband... no pressure...I didn't feel like they were trying to get me to commit, they were just kind and very helpful. My husband returned the next day and decided to surprise me with a new vehicle in the showroom, which wasn't even one of the vehicles that I looked at! We went to pick up my Hyundai Santa Cruz and I am pleased beyond words. The vehicle was detailed, filled with gas and all ready for me. Anthony took his time going over all the "bells & whistles" to make sure I knew where everything was because it was already dark by then and I was driving home to Denver, PA. This is my first new vehicle purchase in many, many years and I would highly recommend this dealership! Colonial Hyundai... you have customers for life! ♥

I have purchased over 5 cars from this dealership. The last 4 were with Lou Ziegler. Lou is one of the greatest salesman I’ve worked with. I love upgrading my car to the newest and greatest and Lou always has what I want, or gets in stock what I’m looking for. Lease or purchase, I always walk away happy! The whole process is painless, and a great group of people that walk you through everything. The service department is great, always helpful and quick! While buying a car can be stressful, I know I’m in good hands with Lou and the team at Colonial Hyundai!

Anthony was great to work with. No pressure, ask all the right questions. There were a couple of questions he needed to get his manager involved and Lou was great at answering my financial questions and giving me all the options available. They came highly recommended and did not disappoint.

We had a great experience buying a 2024 Palisade Calligraphy. Zack Barba was very informative, and took the time to teach us about all the car’s features both before the purchase and after. The transaction was easy and effortless. Days after the purchase, Zack made himself available to answer all the questions that had arisen since the purchase both at the dealership and over the phone. We will definitely be back to buy from Zack and Colonial Hyundai in the future.

I had a pleasant experience here in 2018 when I bought my car from them. But about two years into the loan, I started getting their offers to buy back my car. I didn't want to sell my car back, so I disregarded the letters. But a few months ago I received another letter, with a very nice offer on my Hyundai from Colonial. So i reached out to the dealership since my car was 5 years old, and asked if this was a legitimate offer, or just some sort of come-on to get me in the door. Lou Ziegler replied quickly and said the letter was NOT any sort of come-on. He even went so far as to say the value given in the letter is frequently EXACTLY what they'd end up giving me on a trade for my 2018. I disclosed the mileage on my vehicle in an email to him, and he still said that trade offer in the letter could be a little lower or a little greater than what I'd get on a 2023 purchase. He said I would get an INCREDIBLE DEAL (see attachment)Well here's my advice to you when you receive a trade offer in the mail on your Colonial Hyundai. Throw it immediately in the trash. You don't even have to open it. Just trash can it. Because my letter indicated I would get $16, 849 as a trade. And in reality, the best offer they made me in person was $7000. It wasn't even HALF of what they offered in the letter. So despite what they'll tell you, that letter is ABSOLUTELY a come-on to get you in the door, so they can low-ball you once you've arrived. It is a bold-faced LIE so you'll think you'll get some sort of loyalty deal going back to them. And maybe you'll like their new 2023 vehicle so much, you'll accept their low-ball offer on your trade and take an extreme loss on the deal. The KBB value of my car was between $8500-11000 and they wouldn't even come within $1500 of the low end of that. The other LIE they told me to get me in the door, what that a vehicle could be ordered from the factory with a different transmission. I wanted my new car to have a 6-speed manual, and Lou said it might take a few months, but it could be done (see attachment) Then once I was in their showroom, I'm advised the bad news that this indeed CANNOT be done. The only thing I hate more than wasting money, is wasting time. And that's why I told him in my email what the mileage was on my 2018. I told him in another email I wanted a manual transmission. But none of it mattered. Because his strategy was to tell lie after lie so I would show up at a dealership an hour away from where I live, just to be disappointed.But the end result of this horrible experience at Colonial Hyundai of Downingtown, PA is - They have converted me to being a Mazda owner. I have a beautiful, fully loaded Mazda 3 now (see third attachment) It has the manual transmission I wanted, power sunroof, heads up display on the windshield, lane guidance, three years of free navigation, power everything, 12 speaker Bose stereo system, etc. Heritage Mazda in Bel Air, MD made me a fair offer for my trade, they came down a little on the sticker price of their car, and the follow-up communications with them have been outstanding. My credit score is 825 so the loan was approved instantly, and I put nearly 50% down to keep my payments manageable.This could've happened at Colonial, if they were honest and up front with people. But despite what they'll tell you (see attachment again) they are not honest. And I can see why they have 2 out of 5 stars with Yelp. If I could give them a zero-star rating, I would have.
