Outstanding staff!! Rob, Marina, Vince, Sue, Lola all top notch people. My family does $1000s of scripts per month. Always ready, even if out of stock, they always get you some to get through. Hopefully they stand the test of time

Pick up receptionist extremely rude and unhelpful. Was told there was no medication here, and that I needed the name for it to go any further. Forced to call doctor until receptionist magically found the cancelled medication in their computer and was magically able to be more helpful, instead of the condescending responses. Then told to wait 30 minutes for them to put it together
Customer service is extremely poor, do not recommend
No names included but my encounter was at 1020am on June 10th 2025 for any management that would like to look further into this

I was a bit disappointed. I don't shop Acme but it was on my way home. I have no app and do not want it. They wouldn't even take the advertised coupon off because I didn't have the app.

Pharmacy was out of the medicine I needed for my son. Wouldn’t agree to call me when they got it back in stock. Said I would just need to call every day. They didn’t care at all. Very rude staff.

Customer service is so terrible. I understand that with COVID, things has been extra busy for the staff. However, that does not excuse the attitudes that the pharmacy techs displayed to clients such as myself. I used to come here for an entire year before I ended up transferring all my prescription to another pharmacy due to the constant bad experiences with the staff.The pharmacy techs displayed lack of knowledge of savings cards that astounds me as a registered nurse. I had a company savings card for a brand medication, and wanted to apply that, but when I spoke to pharmacy techs, they had no idea what I was talking about. So of course, speaking to a pharmacists is really the only way to get things done.I would recommend trying to go to a different ACME or different pharmacy. Otherwise, you will be dealing with incompetent pharmacy techs.

I have been a loyal customer for 21 years , since I’ve lived in Doylestown. For the third time in recent months I go in to shop with at least ten dollars earned by your rewards program only to find out they were not applied. I asked the cashier who said he had no idea, wasn’t anything he could do. Went to customer service and was told by the young woman she had no idea then a young man at customer service said it was an IT problem and that it is down more often than it works. I guess it’s time to try Giant!! Most friends/neighbors who shop Giant say they stand behind their customers.

Self check out now is REALLY, REALLY loud. Can't mute ANYMORE, either. There's no reason everyone needs to know what I bought and how much it costs. And the level of sound coming from both sides turns the alley into a trauma zone for those with autism and psych disabilities.

Not quite sure why the supermarket has such low ratings. I don't often get up to Pennsylvania and when I do I'm not usually shopping for groceries, but this place is convenient for me. I do agree with reviewers who say the parking lot is crazy - very crowded; lots of traffic and stop signs everywhere. Inside the store is clean and bright but the aisles are a bit narrow. They are also one way and well marked. I didn't get a chance to compare prices to my usual supermarkets in Maryland but it didn't seem outrageous. Check out was easy and the employees were friendly.

Donald is a Great General Manager, Jeff the manager makes the Best Fruit Baskets and Ken the manager, experience on frozen foods is superb. Plus they have the Freshest Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream in Town!

I'm not sure if the pandemic is limiting this Acme location's ability to stock it's shelves properly or if it is just a general decline in both selection and quality, but I continue to be disappointed in this local grocery. Limited selection, produce that is clearly not in its prime, long lines and a general feeling that the best days are long behind this location are in abundant evidence.While their prices are higher, I am now taking my business to Wegman's in Warrington or Simply Fresh in downtown Doylestown for better quality, less waiting, more selection and healthier grocery options.
