BBack replaced the Alternator with an OEM ND/Denso and also replaced the battery with an ACDELCO AGM W a 3 year warranty.
In addition the pulley was replaced and the Serpentine belt. The car runs like new

I don't recommend buying an Audi though. Always check the vin before purchasing! Canadian VINs aren't warrantied by Audi in US!”

I recently got burned on a used car purchase for my son who was soon returning to college - the check engine light was disabled by an unscrupulous seller to hide a serious transmission problem and I fell for it. John performed a prompt and thorough diagnosis without charging. After partial disassembly began to replace a component and the transmission’s internal wear could be assessed, a complete transmission replacement was recommended to reduce the potential for future problems. John quickly located and installed a reasonably priced used unit (as Subaru CVT’s are not currently rebuildable) which allowed my son to meet his back-to-school deadline and didn’t break our budget. The communication, dedication, and integrity of this shop is outstanding. Look no further!”
