Doylestown Car Spa is a self-service car wash located in the heart of Doylestown. It accepts $1 tokens sold on site, US quarters, and major credit cards. Washing options include high-pressure soap, rinse, and wax, as well as foamy brush soap, costing $1 per minute with a three-minute minimum. Reviews note it is the only self-service option in the area. Many customers find it convenient and functional, successfully cleaning their vehicles with everything working as intended. The credit card readers are appreciated for their convenience, and the owner receives praise for excellent customer service, being responsive and quick to rectify issues. However, some customers report frequent maintenance problems, such as leaking hoses, missing knobs, and soap mixing into the rinse cycle, which can leave residue. The water quality is sometimes criticized for leaving spots, and the lack of an air dryer is noted. A significant point of confusion involves the credit card system, which places a pending $25 authorization that adjusts to the actual spent amount after a few days, a process some find misleading without clearer signage. Overall, it is seen as a useful local business with a dedicated owner, though some feel its equipment and wash quality are inconsistent and not as modern as other self-service facilities.
I paid via credit card, advertised as $3. A $25 pending charge is still on my account over a week later.

Their machines don’t accept cards, apple/google pay and the car wash doesn’t offer many options. It seems the owner is not interested in upgrading the business. You’ll find plenty of more modern and better car wash facilities nearby.

Have never once had a problem here. Always take my truck and trailer here to get them clean. The credit card readers are convenient too because I never carry cash or coins anymore. Owner is a great guy as well!
