Small town “friendly” bank with all the big bank fees to drive out the happy customers. Requests get ignored and go unresolved/unanswered. After the merger with Citizens & Northern, they just don’t seem to care anymore and that friendly small town bank is now a bigger small town bank trying to play big bank while still pretending to be the small town bank. When C&N was Monument bank the employees were happy and helpful and just a pleasure to talk to and bank with. I opted to bank with Monument bank despite the 9-5 hours because of the awesome customer service which was sacrificed in the merger. Either find another local real small town bank or switch to a real big bank with the real big bank customer service hours, apps, and technology to back the fees. If you are going to pay the same for services you might as well pay for the good ones.

Fantastic local bank with a wonderful "small-town" feel while still providing all of the services needed in today's busy electronic world. Their people care about the community. They have heart and give back. Really great company, highly recommended.
