My wife went to rent a truck here and did not have a good experience. The guy she talked to was rude to her and seemed to make comments. The truck itself was dirty inside, didn’t seemed like it was went over at all. I would use a different location. Had no issues at the location in Lansdale. Staff were nicer too.

I needed a truck with a lift gate. Penske had it. Little bit of delay in the process but they took care of all needs and even called to follow up and see if everything worked out. Great customer service communication.

I reserved a cargo van a week in advance. I received both email & text message reminding me that my van would be ready 7am Saturday. I only had a couple of big pieces of furniture to move can a cargo van was more than enough for me on this one way trip. When I arrived to pick up my van at 7:30 there was no truck ready for me. They didn't have the van, or even a 12-foot truck (which is the next size up). They called around to other stores to see who might have any truck in any size that I could have NOW. An hour after I arrived I was presented with a 16ft Penske truck with a full gas tank, cracked windshield, and a nail in the front tire. I have never driven a truck this big before and was not looking forward to it on my 100 mile trip but I took it. Bottom line I got a truck, I made the journey, I only clipped one curb while making a wide turn, and I returned the truck to the return location and threw the keys in the key return. Penske lost a star for not having a truck ready, and damaged vehicle. Tire made me nervous about every pothole for 100miles.

Penske offered a variety of vans and trucks for personal moving items or if you are moving homes. They offer limitless miles but it is much less expensive if you can return the truck to the place you rented it from.
