Cannot say enough about Windmill! Our 3 year old has been there for nearly a year and I've been blown away by everything and everyone. Teachers and staff truly care about the children. Safety is the utmost importance. Classrooms small enough that teachers really know the students. No staff turnover. Kids are outside for a lot of the day, going on long walks on the pretty grounds and playing on the playground and basketball court. Solid curriculum too - at only 3 years old I'm constantly impressed by what he's learning. Special events held throughout the year that go above and beyond what's expected of a school - because they care that much. Our son has really blossomed and made so many friends since he's started. Every morning he runs in without so much as looking back to say bye to me! I never have to worry about my son while I am working which is all I can ask for - I know staff watch the kids like their own, and that he's having fun!

Our kids were lucky enough to spend a full year at Windmill in 2020 - 2021. We have nothing but love for everyone on their team. They made the year so special despite what was going on in the world. Our kids both thrived and developed all while having a great time every day. The staff are super safety conscious and always called to let us know about every bump, scrape and bruise. They got the kids outside as much as possible and took full advantage of their amazing property (and location near Peace Valley). We moved out of the area and leaving Windmill was one of the biggest downsides to the move. I really can’t imagine any daycare that compares to this place. If your kids like fun, sign them up here!

We have been members of the Windmill family for 5 years now. Our youngest will be there another two years (and our older child still wonders why they don’t have first grade!). Windmill has been, and continues to be, in our experience, far above average in every possible way.If you are considering a school, there are some important things about Windmill that you should know, especially as you compare them to other schools. First, the teachers are all amazing, and turnover is essentially zero - they are, to a person, wonderful, caring, kind people, and they stay (in the world of child care this alone is amazing) because they get what a special place it is, and that they, the teachers are part of the magic.Next, Windmill is focused on learning - but not just academics. Certainly your kids will learn to read, write, and add (and Windmill sets the bar high there, no question), the work is rigorous and each child gets the attention they need to excel. Beyond that, though, Windmill truly values teaching kids to be kind, caring humans, to be good friends, to be good citizens, good to nature and aware of the good in others. This super focus on teaching kids to be kind, caring people is another thing that sets them apart.Third, Windmill values play, and having kids outside, and makes sure they are a part of everyday. This is a huge difference and has been an amazing part of each day for both my kids - they are outside everyday it is remotely possible, in the fresh air, playing in ways both organized and not. Having the chance to be outside everyday, to take advantage of the Windmill’s proximity to Peace Valley Park helps them focus when it’s time to learn, to use their pent-up little kid energy well, and learn to roll with the weather and enjoy the outdoors. We love that our kids come home tired, and sometimes kind of dirty ;), they are lucky to get the chance! Our family is not originally from the area, and we do not have extended family here. Windmill has been an amazing blessing for us, because we know our kids are safe, learning and loved each and every day they are there. They have given us a family here, where we are, to rely on, and be a part of. We are proud to be a part of the Windmill family and are grateful to be able to send our kids to such an amazing place. These are just a few of the reasons we love Windmill - there are so many more! Please know it’s worth exploring if it’s the right fit for your family!

We have a very active 4 year old who started back in Windmill last year and he LOVES IT THERE. Everyone here is fantastic and have made us try feel comfortable dropping him off everyday. They staff care very much for everyone and are very pacient and hardworking. They have a very family -like feel compared to the cookie cutter day cares out there. (Which we had our son in two different day cares prior to Windmill and we heavily regret not sending him here sooner)We especially love the student interactions among the different ages/classrooms throughout the day/week. All the classes go on a fantastic walk right before lunch time down to a beautiful park and back. They provide a very safe, very welcoming property of school buildings and play areas. They take safety very seriously and makes sure everything is up to every code and regulation. All in all we love❤️❤️ Windmill and recommend it highly!!! Your little one will walk away with not only knowledge but also a wonderful feeling of excitement to learn more and go back every day.

Both of our children attend Windmill Day School & Camp and it’s been such a great experience for our family! We LOVE that they make certain the kids get outside everyday - so important - and that in addition to the excellent curriculum, they help teach them independence, kindness, manners and resilience. The teachers are all phenomenal & worked with our children to help mold their strengths and guide them through challenges. It’s hard to leave your children somewhere everyday for someone else to look after them. Windmill makes that a little easier as they treat our children like family. Thank you to all of the awesome WDC Team ... it takes a village and we’re happy to have found you!

I cannot say enough positive things about Windmill. First and foremost, the staff treats everyone (parents, children, etc) like their own family. The Love is Real. My daughter started attending Windmill at 16 months old, and they made the transition for her as seamless as possible, from drop-off, to meal-time, to nap, to pick-up. Windmill keeps children safe and happy, and lets them be CHILDREN. The school, which is also an amazing summer-camp, has so much acreage right near Lake Galena, and the children spend so much of their time out doors in the fresh, healthy air. There are so many qualities this school/camp has, it's truly an amazing place. Go check it out!

We've been a part of the Windmill family for two years and are so happy we made the move from a private nanny to a school setting. Our daughter has thrived at Windmill; becoming more social, kind, thoughtful, and intelligent. The school offers a fun learning environment and tons of outdoor time! Windmill takes food allergies very seriously which is so important to us. We highly recommend!

My daughter has been going to the school for 4 years and now in Kindergarten. We chose Windmill for a lot of reasons but the few that stood out to me was what I was hearing from other parents of Windmill students. Some people look at a place like this as just a day care but when I learned that they pushed education and pushed raising kind children I knew this was the place for us. All the parents told us that their children that moved on to 1st grade from Windmill were ahead of other kids in their class. For example, last year in Pre-K my daughter was learning bar graphs! It may seem simple but I like that the push the children with their academics. What also stands out is that they raise the children to be kind. It is in all points of the day from a blessing before snack, to charities the school with run for a local family that may have fell on hard times to even something simple as appreciating the earth with their daily walks.I could go on and on, we have had 4 years of experience, but it is very simple, check them out. It's a great school and should not be overlooked.

All 3 of our kids attended Windmill. They treat everyone like family and I love that they are very curriculum based but also make it really fun for the kids.

Windmill Day School & Camp is fantastic. Our two children go there. They are ages 5 and 3. We found Windmill through the recommendation of a woman I work with who had worked there. She told us that she wanted to send her kids there once she had kids! That is a strong recommendation.Prior to visiting Windmill we were considering one of those corporate/franchise daycare centers because they seemed like a safe choice. We had some qualms about them, however, because they seemed small, regimented and sterile. As soon as we saw Windmill were sold. It is on a beautiful property near Peace Valley Park. It has two pools, a pond, horse facilities, sports courts, a ropes course, and simply fantastic outdoor facilities for kids. We really wanted our kids to be active and in touch with nature, so it was perfect. After meeting the staff and seeing the rest of the school, we were certain we would send our kids there. The Windmill teachers were also great and very impressive. As it turns out, quite a few teachers from Central Bucks send their kids to Windmill because it has such a great reputation among CB teachers for preparing kids for school. Our kids started at Windmill for summer camp. They had a great time. Our daughter leaned to swim (they have swimming lessons every day). They got our son potty trained in just a couple of days, after we had been working on it for months! Both of our kids got to horseback ride (with supervision), swim, go on hikes, and participate in a play the school puts on every year.Recently our kids started in pre-school. They are working on their numbers and letters, arts and crafts, and also continue to do lots of fun outdoor activities. There are also quite a few extra activities. For example, there is a "monster mash" Halloween party coming up where the kids get to stay at Windmill late while the parents get a night out.We are planning on sending both of our kids to Windmill through kindergarten. Since Central Bucks only has 1/2 day kindergarten, it makes sense for us to keep them there since we would have to get before/after school care for them anyway. If you are looking for either a pre-school, full day kindergarten or summer camp in the Central Bucks County area, definitely check out Windmill.
