4319 Main St, Philadelphia“I received the ring, and it is stunning. I love it! So dainty and unique. Also, the resizing is perfect. The ring fits great. Beautiful packaging as well. Pretty details. Thank you!”
“Staci and Scott are such great people. They’re knowledgeable and such a pleasure to deal with. They have the best things at their store with the best prices. I won’t go anywhere else!”
“Arcana is an absolute gem on Moyamensing and the neighborhood is very lucky to have this one of a kind store. There are so many unique vintage finds like decorations, artwork, kitchen and glassware, lamps, stained glass, mirrors, jewelry and other one of a kind items and goods. For me, Arcana doesn't get enough credit for being a one of a kind bookstore. They always seem to stock a wonderful assortment of spiritual, religious, fiction, esoteric/metaphysical and antiquarian books. They also have a great stock of vinyl records, too. I stop in often as things are always coming and going, plus I enjoy talking with Jim the owner and his sister Jerri. Stop in to explore the store or just to chat with Jim. He is full of stories and seems to have a passion for people as much as he does antiques and vintage. This is a friendly and welcoming place.”
“The Philadelphia Print Shop has a huge selection of beautiful prints, and a warm, expert staff. It is a pleasure to work with them and I am SO happy with the set of bird prints which they helped me to put together!”

100 Park Ave, Swarthmore“Visited for the first time with a friend last weekend. Loved it. Great job Rob for pulling this place together and keeping in going for 8 years. Can't believe it took me that long to make it. Will be returning and encouraging others to check it out. Ps. Loved Mighty Joe Castro and the Gravamen. Glad to know Rockabilly is still alive in Philly Area.”
“*edit* This store is appointment only. Also the sign does not say "Khan's Antiques & Jewelry" rather it says "Media Antiques".Tried to go here this afternoon, but store looked fairly empty, doors were locked and I couldn't see anyone inside. No hours posted anywhere.”

1022 S 9th St, Philadelphia“We recently sold and bought some items in this store, we were pleased with the transactions. The owner is very professional and knowledgeable with valuable vintage items. This store is a gem in the Italian market and has well curated vintage items. Highly recommended!”
“After refinishing our mahogany entry doors, the weather worn bright brass door hardware needed attention. Either I could get out my Brasso and buff the brass myself, or have someone help me. I sent photos to Chelsea Plating and got back a quote within a day. I sent off the hardware, including the smallest pieces I was sure would be lost, and a few weeks later got everything back looking better than expected. The price was reasonable for the effort to clean, polish, and lacquer the hardware. Now the hardware looks as good as the refinished door, and I could use the original mounting holes in the door because I re-used the original door hardware.I already identified two new projects for Chelsea. I just need to disassemble the door hardware and ship it away! I highly recommend Chelsea Plating.”
“This antique store has so much to offer, with items in great condition. The owner, Dale Hunt, and his staff were also very pleasant to work with. Dale knows and appreciates antiques more than anyone I know, and he was happy to educate me on the items I brought in to sell. Dale is a very honest person! If you have any antiques you would like to sell or purchase, this is the place to go to!”
“I enjoy the post from Isabelle Sparrow, but just realized I had not seen them on a long while. The algorithm writers do not know me and should not be choosing for me.”

4824 Merion Ave, Philadelphia“Bought three vintage chairs from Scott: two Danish armchairs and a fiberglass Herman Miller rocking chair--all beautiful pieces. Would be 5 stars if not for the fact that the rocking chair broke, but Scott graciously took the chair back and gave us a refund.”
“So, after a wonderful Sunday brunch at Springmill Cafe, we decided to take a look at the offerings at Bird in Hand Consignment. Immediately, I spotted this clock in their display window. The price required no negotiation! I took the clock home, set it up for testing, and discovered that it was quite a bit older than I realized. Instead of brass, nearly all of the wheels in the movement were made of wood! The clock was manufactured by Boardman and Wells in Bristol Conn sometime between 1832 and 1843.This is a clock that will be in my permanent collection! And Bird in Hand Consignment will be on my must visit list.”

122 W Lancaster Ave, Wayne“I wouldn’t call this an antique store, at least not by the common expectation of a barn full of dusty junk with a few gems: this is a highly curated collection of fine British antique decorative works. There were plenty of paintings and metal statuettes for hundreds or thousands of dollars—no folk art or salvaged window shades. I was looking for a more standard antique store so this wasn’t my speed, but it seemed like a good collection.”

213 Haverford Ave, Narberth“Jeff is an honest and knowledgable person. He's given me great deals on collectibles I've sold in the past, and also is honest with me and points me in the direction of a place if he thinks I'd get a better deal there. I trust him completely and highly recommend him to anybody”

25 W Highland Ave, Philadelphia“The Clover Market actually moves around the area, and the one I went to this year was held in Collingswood. I heard it was the only one in Jersey this year. They claim there are 100 vendors, but I really don't feel like it was that many, though I saw that there were a few booths were artists split a booth. Now, this ain't your neighborhood grandma using Michael's ribbons on sale with her 25% coupon to make wreaths that you slap onto your front door. For many of the booths, it was gallery quality, and the prices reflect as such. Everyone was super, super friendly. My favorite booth was the guy who handcrafted amazing whirligigs. I had to buy a flying pig that used bird feathers to catch a breeze. Stunning, and for $40, I had to get it.”
“They all seemed real nice there. He was very negotiable and respectful kind of funny maybe he's been huffing his own milk paint.. I'm from the south so this is one of the first thrift stores I've seen but reasonable pricing because most of the other ones I've been to up here I don't even know how they're in business cuz there's no way they sell anything at their dream thought prices”
“Such an amazingly curated consignment shop that holds space for creative classes. Further, their antique selection...SHEESH! Did I mention it's locally owned by the cutest and kindest couple ever? You have got to give these two credit for their boots on the ground work to get this place in order. We love to see it.”
“When ever I am in Philadelphia/Chestnut Hill I always check out the McCarty Gallery. Good art from estates and more often than not I am able to come away with a treasure. Wish I lived closer.”
“This is an amazing gem showcasing the history and creativity of American needlecraft. We saw gorgeous, beautifully and carefully restored samplers done by women in the 1700-1800s. My daughter, heading into art college, was fascinated and impressed. The owner took especial care to schedule our visit, describe the pieces, and answer our questions. Her expertise and passion for the genre are impressive. I would recommend a visit to anyone!!”

1625 Pine St, Philadelphia“I just got this Louis XVI beauty so needed between my Mother's heirloom chairs, Antique Showcase has it all! The comments here are so stupid ... I have been visiting this store regularly for the last three years, and the owners are an old gay couple. and they have two small dogs. I love what they have, impressive chandeliers, beautiful French mirrors, tables, and chairs, I haven't seen many of these anywhere in Philadelphia. It's an impressive collection. The amount of stuff is overwhelming, they let me roam the store freely, taking my time to look at everything. Because, Ingo to look at the furniture, not to look at them. they are not rude, they engage me in conversation, they ask questions, they talk to me about their pieces, they suggest things, and one of them even makes jokes. I learned they are a gay couple, and they have been together for over 1000 years. They are frankly beautiful Anyway, I don't go to an antique store to visit the owners, I go to look at their stuff and buy antiques. Simple, I suggest you do the same. GROW UP people”

“We got two beautiful items for great prices, and Carmen was able to tell us the history of each one. He even helped us get the items into our home! Thank you so much.”

45 E Chestnut Hill Ave, Philadelphia“A wonderful antique shop if you like a very specific style of traditional old fashioned furnitur , silver's , and mirrors. Very knowledgeable and friendly owner.”
“I adore this shop. Lots of unique items, the more you look the more you find. There’s clothes, candles, jewelry, incredibly upholstered antique furniture, and everything in between. The owner is very gracious.”
“I absolutely adore this store. They have a wonderful collection from home decor, jewelry, and clothing. Not only are the products beautiful, but the workers are very genuine people. Every time I come in, I feel welcomed. I highly recommend stopping by.”
“Tony was the third stop our family made in its efforts to sell my father's coin collection. He gave us respect and courtesy, as well as a fair price. Highly recommend this business. Should have gone to him in the first place.”
