Need a clearance rack (same prices) from all different stores compiled into one location, except the clothing is all USED? You've come to the right place. It's not worth your money; a clearance rack at any one of the brands they sell's stores will be selling you brand new clothes for the same price. I just bought a pair of Stride Rite shoes for my son for $21. They're scuffed on the front. Come to find out, Stride Rite has a few different styles on sale on their website for $23-$25 a pair. I could have gotten him a brand new pair for the same price. This is the case for just about everything they sell, including brands like Old Navy. Not to mention the store itself isn't child-friendly at all. They play explicit music (yes, I was hearing repeated F-bombs while shopping with my son) and there are no shopping carts.

I have tried to return items a few times and this is the 3rd time ive has items rejected. I do understand that often times things may be a bit worn, but I don't think a lot of the items I brought in were extremely worn or damaged (I do take accountability that one did have a rip on the hip of the jeans though so totally get that one). Last time we had a children's desk and it was not accepted and previously clothes items, as I must have had the season wrong for what they were accepting (so this i understand as well). Some of the items that I was attempting to return had been bought at the shop and my son wore it only a few times, so of course it was worn, but no more so than when we got it. It's just interesting when you get rejected for items but then see some of the items on the racks or the shoes, which are in far worse shape. Seems like it's up to the discretion of the associate accepting the items.I will say though on a positive note, I have purchased many items and have had no issues. I really like the option to get my son some clothing items, as he is under 5 and grows so quick.Today was also the first time that I had a positive experience with an associate too. The cashier who checked me out for my items was very nice and personable. She helped us untape an item that we purchased, so that my son could see the figurines inside and was just really pleasant overall. I do not always have this experience unfortunately, but continue to go because it's close and has items I'm looking for. The other individual today, who evaluated the clothing, didn't really interact much, only when I asked why the items weren't accepted and she said " a bit worn or ripped" (which again I know one had a rip so understand that one and maybe some worn pj's, but some healthy quality items were returned).I'm a bit discouraged from trying to sell back items, but may continue to browse the clothes for purchase

I am pregnant with my first child and my household is on a budget. I had been eyeing up a grey ergo baby carrier for months online before I entered this store. I new it would be difficult for me and my family to afford a new ergo baby carrier. Sure enough I came in here got some clothing and found the grey ergo baby carrier, which was the exact one I wanted and it was $38. I am so grateful to this shop! They have a good selection of second hand items. I will be returning to buy some more items before I give birth. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

A complete rip off!!! Don’t trust these ppl the told me my offer would take an hour they never contacted me offer me $130 for 32 items that was mostly polo… asked for my stuff to be returned and they refused put my items on there sells room floor without me accepting the offer.. FOLLOW UP $130 / $160 it’s the same & when I return to the store just for the “manger” Janice to correct my email address I would think the system would had sent an error due to the fact it was the wrong email address.. they should’ve called me instead & she still never sent the email like she stated she did in the first place! Don’t sell your stuff to this place you’ll have better luck on Poshmark.. & on top of all that if you say part of your policy is we will send you a offer by email or you can stay in wait this was not explained to me at all they sales associate are not well trained They put my items up for sale without my consent didn’t give me a chance to reject the offer I would of gladly taken my item back However you place my stuff on your sales floor and I never accepted the offer or agreed to sale to y’all. What’s done is done & still won’t give me a copy of the receipt. It’s just material items but to me it’s the principle and respect that she or her staff didn’t show to me. I wonder if I can take sort of legal action.

After over a year of trading and shopping here, I will be moving on from patronizing this shop. This is my first time reading their reviews, and it seems that there have been YEARS of reported negative experiences with some particular members of their staff that have disgustingly unprofessional attitudes and they are still there, so that clarifies the priorities of management. They will continue to lose business because of these girls in particular and I guess they are okay with that. Even more, as I am reading the owner’s responses to reviews, it is clear that the nastiness and unprofessionalism is from the top down and likely reflects the owner him/herself. Glad that I have seen all of this, because it undergirds my judgment. There are two workers here that just always seem miserable and are often unprofessional, unwelcoming and completely balk at the thought of providing kind customer service. One is a younger brunette girl and the other is an overweight blonde. They are not polite or welcoming and it’s in such stark contrast to others that are professional and friendly.I never gave them much attention, but after receiving an extremely rude phone call, where I believe it may have been one of the negative workers who directly accused me (to the point of threatening to call the police and referencing their video cameras etc.) of stealing baby gates after they forgot to ring them up on my $100-200 bill, I was done.I tried to allow the manager to smooth over the situation, but I don’t believe that anything was addressed regarding the unprofessional way that I was approached.

I was a loyal customer of Kid to Kid 10 yrs ago when my older two children were small. They had high-quality, unique items you couldn't find in most stores. I recently went to purchase some toys for my youngest, who is a toddler now. For second-hand items, they were priced close to retail value. The cashiers were kind and helpful, so I let it go. Most recently, I came in to sell 2 gently- worn, pair of sneakers (OshKosh,Vans ) and a pair of never worn Nike sneakers. The cashier offers $10.25 for all 3 pair! She didn't want to provide an itemized receipt showing what I sold. I was insulted to say the least. I now see why everything on their clothing racks screams " Walmart clearance". Instead of fairly sharing profits with their customers, they choose to overcharge on purchases and lowball when buying. I'll never spend another dime in that store. To marketplace with my items from now on.

Customer service is horrible. The employees are always talking to each other leaving you and other customers just standing there waiting for their convo to finish. Travel a little further to Jersey or Huntington Valley to Once Upon A Child and you’ll get more money for selling items, better customer service & a lot more clothes to buy as well.

Went into the store for the first time today. Decided to look around and sell items. They offered me $3.50 for a brand new munchkin cup (6.95 value), a Fridababy thermometer in the box (19.99 value), a brand new plain 2t t-shirt, and a carters jacket. They were super fast and I’ll give them that but I have no clue how they value the items. I took my thermometer back and got $2.50…Don’t plan to ever sell there again. They have a variety of new puzzles and books but I wouldn’t consider it super cheap.

Years ago this used to be a good place to sell gently used children's clothing. When I would always bring in namebrand high-end items, I would always get a thank you note in the mail & would be paid on average between five and six dollars an item which was perfectly acceptable. Most recently I have taken brand-name, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Hanna Andersson, Tucker& Tate , Gap etc all in great condition. First, they have young kids working there that I don't think are aware of brand-name items, and returned my sons' Burberry shirt and pants(?) which normally retail for 250- saying they don't take that brand ? And what they did take - I got paid an average of approximately a dollar per item = what I received. I originally went with over 50 items, they returned approximately 11 and I got $45 for the remainder. The dresses alone from Ralph Lauren originally were 60 or $70 I probably could've sold on the street for at least 4 dollars. I understand they have to make a profit, but when I walked around the store waiting for my tote to be evaluated, I looked at the prices they were charging for Ralph Lauren shirts, 17.99$ - so there's no justification for paying a dollar per Ralph Lauren item if you're going to try to charge upwards of $17. I'd rather donate my clothes.
