“Now that the old postmaster was transferred out of McAdoo and shipped off to Harrisburg a couple of years ago this is a wonderful post office. She was quite rude and never wanted to do any work. Hail Dorothy, the wicked witch of McAdoo is GONE.”

“*EXCELLENT* I went inside and had a nice talk with a really wonderful beautiful woman.
I was always curious about this place because there's another post office in town if not another but it's because of the coal mining towns that surround here and for people to have PO boxes. There are no mail carriers here you can only get a PO box here.
Still pretty cool that they have the PO boxes and they have handicap parking and all that.

“These guys are pretty good. They do their best to make adjustments. The people in the office are kind, especially since customers can be frustrated at times. The staff are nice and professional too. I think the USPS in general,at the higher level, can do something to make package arrival dates more reliable but that's not staffs fault. Good experience overall”

“Compared to the other post offices nearby, I've never had a problem here! The employees are always so friendly and informative, their stamp selection is great and the office is nice and clean. You barely ever have to wait in line. The P.O. box prices are a little high but I can see why if it means I'm getting better service. I love it here!”

“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and have always had a good experience. Packages, boxes, stamps, passports, P.O. boxes, etc. all available. I would say, please come prepared to the best of your knowledge, to make it easier on the postal employee helping you. This will speed up the line for everyone. Also, I love the interior as it is a classical post office with brass and classical federal architecture. I hope this look will be preserved.”
“All staff is pleasant, knowledgeable, and eager to answer all questions. They're quick and efficient though the establishment is small they get you in and out to avoid crowding.”

“Drums, pa post office is exactly as it should be. Professional employees that know what they are doing, while being very pleasant while doing their jobs. They have all your mailing needs.I understand people groaning about rising rates. However, these people are not paid or appreciated enough! They also deserve raises.”
