I purchased a few items here yesterday but was disappointed with the service. For some reason the girl Vicki) behind the cash register walked away from her station at the register after watching me approach for check out. Yep, she looked at me and walked away. Being a patient person, I waited about 10 minutes before going to look for help. I looked up and down a few isles before locating her in an isle doing nothing but standing there day dreaming. She appeared to be hiding because she didn't want to wait on me. What's up with people this days? Is it because I am black? I'm a successful black female American. I guess she felt uncomfortable due to my shine. You aren't the only one that gets intimated because of my beauty, charm, and success. However, you must understand that you represent a company. The success and reputation of a company like General Dollar depends heavily on how their staff interacts with their customers. Yesterday your behavior was giving either Ghetto or Trailer Thrash vibes. That's not a good look for someone who interacts with the public, and it reflected poorly on Dollar General. My receipts serve as documentation that I was there including the time and the name of that girl.

I drove 20 minutes arrived at 5 PM for sale only to find employees took those items and tried to hide them for themselves One even commented { act like you didn’t } I asked here can I have one of the items she said for the employees not for sale you not supposed to see that I said you should close the door

Went last night at 6pm. The doors were locked but the lights were on. Sign said they closed at 9...
They lost about 10 sales as those of us in the parking lot decided to leave after a minute or two.

I was there on a Sunday there was nobody at the cashier people are always on the floor stocking the shelves and having no one for a cashier No bell to rain but they need more help but don't know if this location will stay open but I heard dollar stores won't be around too much in the future

Second time I go to this location and they’re doors are closed when it says 8am on sign .I arrived past eight which was around 8:20 to be exact today. Really needed some things for my classroom in a hurry since it’s close by but this was an inconvenience today:(

Hours of operation posted outside the door 8am-9pm Every day but it’s 9:15am now but no signs of anyone there nor they answer the phone! What kind of business is this??? I’ve seen other people are having the same problem. Smh staffing issues is affecting everywhere ?
