I booked an appointment wanting a fresh summer/fall cut on 8/6/2025. I was having a tough day, my whole morning was thrown off and my planned childcare had fallen through. By the time my appointment time came around, I was debating canceling, but ultimately decided to go with my two girls (ages 6 and 3) in tow.
I walked in and was greeted by Savannah and Diana. They were so incredibly nice and welcoming I felt like I was visiting a friend’s house. I should note my daughters are pretty well behaved but that being said they are kids and like all kids take up space.
The atmosphere of the salon is very welcoming. It is clean and charming inside. The conversations came naturally and there was no awkward feelings of forced conversation. Like I stated above, it was as if I was visiting a friend’s house who just so happens to cut hair.
I ended up getting about 6 inches cut off, which makes my hair so much lighter feeling, and Savannah did amazing. I absolutely love it. My girls also ended up getting trims as well and they look adorable. Savannah did an amazing job and made us all feel comfortable and relaxed.
We all left the salon feeling like our day was turned around. Thanks to a haircut and Diana and Savannah.
Price wise I would say they are fair. I’m not positive what the breakdown is but for one adult woman’s hair cut and two children haircuts with wash and dry it was $80 which from what I am use to paying going into Philly for a haircut is a deal.
I appreciate the kindness and the overall experienced I was shown today and will definitely be back in the future for my girls and myself.

Originally met with Diana the owner and came back on a Tuesday evening for Wendy to do my very fine hair and difficult hair. I had stopped at four salons Trying to get someone to talk with me on a Tuesday afternoon. Found Shapes salon driving back home. Diana talked with me right away, which helped me a lot. I came back the following Tuesday night. Wendy looked at photos I have selected and could see what was wrong with my hair. I like her a lot and I like the salon a lot. Highly recommend Wendy who works Tuesday nights and Saturday. I'm very impressed with her knowledge and knowledge of hair cut design and color. Highly recommend.

I’m so glad I found Shapes salon. Most salons that I’ve gone to, I felt out of place the minute I walked in the door. I had a whole different experience with Shapes salon. The minute I walked in the door I felt comfortable and not out of place at all. Friendly and down to earth staff. The salon is very quaint.
