First off, I thought going early on a Sunday would be faster service, but that was not the case. There was only one employee working and to his credit he was hustling to fill orders. With customers calling in orders for curbside pickup, I understand that customer service etiquette has changed. It used to be a customer at the counter gets served before someone calling. Most of that falls on the branch manager understaffing the store. A suggestion would be to answer the phone and take the name and number of the caller to contact them back once done with the person who already waited in line. The next issue is the store clearly has posted all the CDC and PA rules. Must wear a mask, must keep 6ft apart, and signs ask customers to place their materials on the counter and step back to keep 6ft away from the employee ringing up your order. Since the poor guy working there himself already had 2 orders called in, and a third that he took while I was waiting, he told me it would he 20 to 30 minutes before he got to my custom stain mix. That was good he told me so I could go run other errands a come back in 30 minutes. When I got back there were 3 customers in the store. One wearing a mask properly, one wearing one like a chin strap, and a third who was leaning on the counter touching everything with no mask on. Sherwin William's management should never leave one person working alone. Its intimidating to have to enforce the Governor's mandate of mask wearing when you are there alone. I told the employee his safety comes first and he needs to tell people to come back with a mask and he would be happy to serve him, which the two people who waited behind me, wearing masks, agreed with. Altogether it took 80 minutes to get my order filled. I hope store management reads this and fixes the problem of understaffing and following the laws to stop the pandemic.

I've gone to this store on 2 occasions (about a year apart) for different painting projects that were pretty special to me. There is a lady named Sue in this store who is so helpful and friendly. When I told her what I was working on, she shared my enthusiasm for the uniqueness of the projects and went out of her way to understand the project and what I was trying to accomplish. When I went back the 2nd time, she remembered me and was excited to see pictures of the completed first project. For the 2nd project I needed paint color-matched to an existing piece of furniture. Sue said she'd need a couple days because she wanted to be exact about the match. She called 2 days later to say the paint was ready. When I got to the store, she had about 5 different swatches of color. She'd been mixing & refining the color because the paint looks different wet than dry. So she mixed the color, painted it & waited for the sample to dry to compare it to the sample I left with her. She did this 5 or 6 times to ensure that the can of paint she mixed for me was as close as possible to the color I wanted. You're not going to get that level of dedication in a big box store. So do yourself a favor, and visit Sue at the Sherwin-Williams on Ridge Pike in Eagleville when you've got something special you're working on. You will not be disappointed.

2 weeks in a row I ordered paint. Pre paid with my credit card and was told my order would be outside on the table. It wasn’t out there either time. They forget to run your card or forget to put it outside. You have one job. Sell paint.

Service could be a little quicker. But I don't blame the lone lady employee working with 5 customers at once.
