Wayside Produce is a charming, family-operated farm market open seasonally from April to October. It is a sister destination to Wayside Greenhouse, offering a variety of spring planting options and summer flowers. The market features a selection of fresh produce, including asparagus, local berries, and sweet corn, all picked daily during the growing season. Customers appreciate the healthiness and freshness of the plants, which often outperform those found in chain stores. In addition to produce, Wayside Produce offers homemade baked goods like whoopee pies, cakes, and fruit pies. The market also showcases beautiful floral bouquets and unique handmade crafts, such as birdhouses. Though small, Wayside Produce is loved for its cleanliness, interesting finds, and the opportunity to support a local farm family. Visitors often enjoy the seasonal offerings year-round, especially in fall for pumpkins and gourds.
Nice small nursery and produce place. The asparagus had a nice green color and was very fresh. Everything looked clean. The plants looked healthy & there were a couple I hadn't seen other places. I bought a small handmade bird house for $5, the last one.
