I used to rent from enterprise regularly, they were my go to at one point. Now it’s as though they don’t want to rent their cars out unless you can give them a kidney and maybe a lung to hold as collateral.They want proof of address, who lives there, how long, bank statements, do you go to Wei’s or giant for your groceries, credit card but wait not this credit card that one, debit isn’t acceptable, but wait we want your money!!(now granted I’m exaggerating… a little that is) but sheesh! Why are the obstacles so extensive at this point. Who hurt you enterprise!?Over all I’m disappointed with the amount of hoops you must go through just to rent a car! It used to be; identification verification, proof of insurance (if not using theirs) and funds. Easy breezy lemon squeezyyy!! Now! Not so much..

Educate customers more. The manager failed to tell me theres a “premium” that my insurance wouldnt pay for if enterprise failed to have any smaller cars currently in their lot. I had to rent a car due to being in an accident. I asked whether my insurance would cover the rental and if i could get something other than a minivan. I was told my insurance covered the cost, only to have to come out of pocket because this particular destination, did not inform me that there is a premium change due to the size of the car that insurance did not cover. So imagine my shock when im told i owe $600 dollars due to being rented a minivan that i did not want to begin with. My family has purchased 4 cars from the enterprise car dealership across the street and we have NEVER had this sour taste left in our mouths after said purchases. I will never rent or tell anyone to rent from enterprise again. On top of that, they kept my deposit when i was told it was just to be kept on hold. Once they were done running what i owed and asked about my deposit, i was told “its going to be used to deduct from what you owe.” The whole interaction felt like a scam and i implore others to not come back here again.

Very disappointing. A week ago I reserved an SUV for a one way trip to the Newark NJ airport, with the car to be dropped off at the Newark Airport Enterprise. The reservation was accepted and confirmed. We are flying out tomorrow evening.Just a little while ago, less than 24 hours before the car pickup time, I got a Voicemail from this location that said they are "sold out" and cannot fill the reservation, and that all the other nearby Lancaster Enterprises are likely sold out too. I tried calling back but this location had closed for the day.I called the National Enterprise customer service number and got a guy who was very friendly but confirmed the sold out status and that there was nothing he could do because there just weren't any cars available.I get that availability is low, but I would think the guy I spoke with at this location with whom I made the reservation would have given me a heads up that this may happen and was not an uncommon risk. If I had known there was even a moderate chance of this happening I would not have made the reservation and made other arrangements.So now I am just left to scramble and will probably have to pay a fortune to an airport transfer service. It's honestly right out of the Seinfeld episode where this happened to Jerry and the woman working the counter told him she knows why they have "reservations", and he said "I don't think you do......You know how to TAKE the reservation, but you don't know how to HOLD the reservation, and that's really the most important part of the reservation - the holding. Anyone can just take them."SMH

Madeline, in the (east Petersburg store) was very kind and caring. I had a situation and with out question from the jump, she help me out with the best rate, out of all the truck rental businesses, I called today. I didn't need her services after all, do to a change in my situation. She was prompt, caring and very kind! She showed the prime example of exceptional customer service! They have my recommendation now Thank you!

So far It's been great. I was in an accident and they have been very awesome walking me thru the process putting me at ease,explaining everything.These guys have been a really great help and wonderful to work with. Car is clean and really nice too.

Rented for the first time this visit. Overall I’m happy with the rental itself. They are also very flexible on extension for a vehicle. I had a 2021 Nissan versa. Car was clean,it ran well, No complaints. I love that enterprise does no limit mileage. Sales team is also greatly helpful at the store. My only suggestion would be to Laura the initial deposit for a vehicle. I know why it’s the price that it is, but maybe consider a frequent customer price reduction just to ease the blow. I would rent from them again 100%
