I took my vehicle in for an emissions recall after many months of receiving flyers and phone calls about having it serviced. The van went in on November 7th. Due to supply chain issues the van took some time in order to be returned to my possession. I received the van Tuesday the 22nd and the van broke down the following day. I had the van full of passengers and the driver a total of 15 people and when the driver heard a loud bang the van lost all power and veered towards a safety barrier. No one was seriously injured but all 15 people were stranded the night before Thanksgiving. We had to reimburse all passengers and pay someone to take everyone to their destination 2 hours away. We had no issues until the passengers threatened litigation for the danger we put them in. The van was towed back to the dealership Friday the 24th since Thursday was thanksgiving and most places were closed. Before it was towed I took a video of what I thought was the issues and the coupler under the intake attached to the inlet pipe for the turbo blew off and spewed oil everywhere. The van overboosted and blew off because there were bolts missing from the previous job performed for the recall. The transmission started making noises as soon as the coupler blew and now the dealer stated it's my responsibility to fix the problem. The transmission never had any issues previous to the recall and never gave signs of rough shifting. I regret ever taking my vehicle in because it didn't have any issues before I took it in for something that I didn't need 100%.

After purchasing a used Sprinter out of state, we took it to Lancaster Mercedes for a PA inspection. We were astounded at the problems they found. (was bought from a reputable authorized Ford dealership with a new VA inspection sticker) A huge shout out to Ethan and Ryan for their tireless efforts to get everything sorted out, billed accordingly, and most importantly fixed properly and efficiently. Mercedes Benz Lancaster has proven to be trustworthy and dependable- 2 words I don't usually use to describe used car service. Thank you! Appreciate you! You have earned our repeat business!!

I have a classic SL500 that I've taken to this shop for repairs numerous times, with bad results. It seems they are only interested in maintaining new cars or selling you one. My SL was in their shop for a month and finally they said they couldn't find the part to fix it. They said I should "retire" the $16,000 low mileage classic. I got it home and found a private Mercedes shop in York who got the part and it has been fine now for years. Two other times I asked for an appointment and estimate to have work done. They said they'd get the estimate together and call me. That did not happen either time, no calls. It is well known that new car dealerships are called "stealerships", all they want to do is sell you an overly priced car. Just my 2 cents, but now you have a heads up.

Horrible dealer. Dealers like this is why people hates the car buying experience. I drove from out state and they not show me the vehicle because they had some one coming see vehicle from out of state. They did not even have a deposit on vehicle. The salesman Marshall Sanders never offered to hold vehicle for me. But other salesmen must do this because they are just looking out for their commission. Benjamin Proler told me I could not even look vehicle over because someone might be buying it. Sales manager Johnathan Steffy should have done the right thing but chose stand behind his salesmen poor business manners and complete rudeness i was literary their ready to write a check, no financino, no trade, no b.s. but they would not take my money don't waste your time,

Bought an SLS and a G Wagon from here... ok, ok! Bought a used C300, but she ran good! Got the extended warranty and traded her in a few years later. Warranty had some years left and some dough was returned! If I buy a Benz again, I'll go here!

Unexpected issue with my 450 GLS while driving and went directly to dealership. Everyone I encountered was professional, caring, helpful, well-spoken, well-dressed, and delightful to interact with. Since I had to leave my car there they promptly had a loaner ready to go within a few minutes and the service rep. Jeremy notified me within the hour what the problem was. When I went to pick up my car I was in and out within ten minutes, and again everyone the consummate caring professional. My car was cleaned both inside and exterior. I've been to three MB dealers in the area and this one by far exceeds the other two in every way.

Can't say I'm thrilled with the service department but it is a funny story if you like comical adventures that cost lots of money and the hero can never win. I feel like Rodney Dangerfield. I took my Mercedes because the car had stopped on the highway and would not run. The wheels had locked up. After clearing the check engine fault, the car magically started up and I was able to bring it to this dealer. I called them: ME: The car no longer has the check engine light on so I don't think just a diagnostic is going to tell us anything. SERVICE: Bring it in, we'll check it. Next day: SERVICE: There is nothing showing on the diagnostic sir. That will be $129. ME: But that is what I told you yesterday. There was no malfunction showing, so of course just a diagnostic is not going to show anything. SERVICE: Well, if it happens again Sir, leave the light on and bring it in. Next Day: The check engine light went on so I brought the car in. SERVICE: There is an emissions part that needs to be replaced. It is $340. ME: So that was the problem? SERVICE: No sir. It had nothing to do with the car stopping. ME: So why did the car stop? SERVICE: We don't know Sir. Next Day: SERVICE: Your car is ready sir. The bill is $520. ME: $520??? Yesterday, you said it was $340. SERVICE: Well, add in another $129 for a diagnostic. At that point I hung up. Two diagnostics in a 48 hour period and over $500 spent with no resolution of the problem. To their credit, after I hung up they called back and took off the second diagnostic charge leaving me with a second bill of $408. Next time I'm bringing my car to a mechanic who can repair a car based on the symptoms and their knowledge, not just the diagnostics. If you are going to charge exorbitant prices (as they do) you should at least have the expertise to make repairs; not just replace parts based upon the diagnostics. Anyone can do that.

Everybody would love a new car, right? But we all shutter at having to negotiate, wade through paperwork and settle on a reasonable price. Welcome to Landcaster Mercedes Benz. I have purchased several automobiles in my lifetime, never has the process been so seamless, upfront w fluid communication. Salesman Nick Diaz exemplifies professionalism. I am extremely pleased with the sales process which Nick spearheaded. Thank you.

Their prices are not reasonable. I bought a car. The leather seats were worn badly for the age and mileage of the car. I was told the seats could be fixed to like new condition in lieu of any discount. It took them 2 tries, they still could not do it right. I was told there were no major issues. First of all they forgot to admit that there was a tear behind the passenger seat. That is what a leather guy is supposed to fix. The center armrest could have certainly used a clean and recondition, something that they also didn't admit. The seat that they did repair the "paint" or whatever is starting to flake and crack within weeks. I am not a big guy by any means. I weigh about 150 lbs. I take excellent care of my cars. The seat belt holder does not retract properly. There was a running water sound from the dash. The a/c blower motor is bad. I know a used car isn't perfect. I let go of the scratch in the leather seat, door ding, curbed wheels, and scratch in the bumper. I expect when something should be fixed, it should be fixed, no exceptions. They care more about saving money than having a satisfied customer. They are not easy to get a hold of either. I feel like they want to do the least amount of work for the most amount of pay. I do not recommend that you buy a car from them. I am certainly not ever again. Update: Jon helped me setup with an upholsterer in my area and he did allow me to have a rental while my car was repaired. It was a real hassle for me. I had to go back and forth a few times to get the color match and the perforation style. It was also a very long lead time. The OEM leather is no longer available, so I had to choose something close enough. The only way it would be better is if the entire interior was refinished. This is not a complaint against the upholsterer; I think he did the best job any one could do. Jon would not pay for any other repairs for any of the other preexisting conditions that were not disclosed at the time of sale. A job half job is a job not done at all. The bottom line for them is more important. For that I cannot change my rating. P.S. never buy a Merc out of warranty.

We had a wonderful experience at this dealership. The people were very honest and did not use any high pressure sales tractics. Kevin Shaffer helped us greatly and emailed us updates on cars we were considering. We had a very enjoyable and low stress experience. They were up front and very fair with their prices. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Mercedes Benz or any of their preowned cars.

Went here for the first time to test drive some of their cars. The staff was courteous and very friendly - our consultant took us for a thorough test drive, provided all the information we needed. The dealership and the display of the cars there is absolutely great. Will definitely go there to check out if we decide to buy.
