Having to resort to a google review because you feel real disrespected is real ! Please save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. You get what you pay for including poor customer service and people skills. Don’t go here! There is always a super long line here with one register open and a self checkout that doesn’t even work! On top of that I went at night and The employees here are super racist/profiling and rude as all hell. They don’t know how to speak with people who aren’t their race. There is a guy that works there who always wears a hat I don’t like him he was there tonight. AND some lady with real short hair who worked with him who tried arguing with me . Avoid them . They can’t even process a transaction correctly and want to yell at their customers ! Disgrace

I've been visiting this store,since it opened. The workers are mostly helpful and nice. Recently, I noticed I haven't seen a few of the workers,that I grew to like and became friendly with. I come to find out,that they were fired for lame reasons,but mostly because they were at top rate and Dollar general fired them to get someone to do their job,cheaper. Dollar general is put in places to make up sales,where Walmart isn't close to. They work their people way too hard,understaffed and underpaid. They use to be cheaper,than most stores,but now that they are very established,cheap prices,are long gone. Also,to get discounts,they want you to dl their app,that doesn't work most of the time and in reality,it's just to track what people buy. My bad review,isn't for customer service,but how corporate America,treats their workers!

This dollar general has the employees working with No Heat so far through all Of winter!! Its crazy to watch from the sidelines.😑
Fix this store and that includes staff members who want to ditch the most loyal nice employee for 6 hrs alone in this store with No Heat!!

I had probably the worst experience at this dollar general today. For a place I live close to and am at often, as is my family, I am disgusted. I walked up to the line to pay and as I did I heard the lady at the register say out “Next”. I walked up to the register and went to proceed to pay for my things as I put them on the counter for the lady. I saw out of the corner of my eye a woman come from the opposite direction to come stand behind me. As the lady at the register starts taking my things out of the basket to scan them, she very rudely accused me and asked “Dod you just cut this lady off in line that was in front of you?”. I’m baffled and confused because I just walked into an empty line and the way this lady is talking down to me makes me feel like I just did something awful. The lady that was behind me herself even started to respond to the lady at the register saying that she had walked away from the line. The lady at the register was trying to justify telling me off about it because that woman had left her cart in the line. BUT if anyone has seen this store it’s always a mess! There’s always a random basket or cart or two filled with stuff or just left around. So no I didn’t pay any mind to the random cart. As I corrected the lady and told her that it’s not okay to just accuse me or talk to me as if I’d ever do something so rude and especially willingly, she continued to be nasty and snarky and truly couldn’t have cared less. I was embarrassed disgusted and hurt to be treated so poorly, so at random, by a total stranger.

I came to buy some stuff here. I'm a paying customer and I needed to use the bathroom. I went to ask the worker and she declined me. She was also rude about it. I have been to other Dollar General and they always let me use the bathroom with and without a purchase. I didn't understand why I wasn't able to use it here. Her name is Eileen

Weird vibes.. employees seem off. And I checked out and they didn’t even put my multiple items in a bag..? they just expected me to carry everything out. Don’t recommend

Its a disgusting store i feel like i walked into a traphouse even the workers look scary with all their piercings i wouldn't recommend this store at all,its an apocalypse store...smh a better store is the the one on route 115 by the pocono raceway its better and cleaner

Fat pink haired blonde girl yelled at me for documentation on my service animal and told me he couldn’t be in the store. I told her i have epilepsy and if something happens that wouldn’t be good for her in which she told me “by all means”

For the most part, the older employees at this store are helpful, but there was one younger rude cashier there yesterday 11/30 who gives dirty looks and doesn't even greet customers.There was one employee that left who would greet customers and it was refreshing.

This store is nasty... you pull into the parking lot and it’s covered in cigarettes from the employees that sit outside all shift smoking cigarettes

There was an item I bought there previously that I needed to return because I purchased it on accident when I was rushing. Accidentally I opened the packaging but I did not use the product. Because it was opened, she would not let me return it. She was really rude about it. I notice at dollar general they get rude if you ever return anything. Also when I walked to the counter, the two associates were behind the register but were ignoring me at first.

A particular younger cashier (who is tattooed horribly)at the Dollar General located in Effort often racially profiles ppl of color and chooses to announce when someone of color enters the store over the megaphone. She is TRASH and should not be in customer service.
