I've been a Hellers customer for 4 months now. So far my experience has been excellent. You can check the tank levels at any time (really convenient). I have a pool heater, I use a LOT of gas. I need fill-ups every 2 weeks or so. Hellers shows up whenever a refill is necessary, automatically, without me needing to call them. It's seamless, it's easy. I get an invoice for exactly how much they filled up within a day or so, my credit card gets charged. When you call customer service for any questions, they are patient, responsive, competent, and answer all my questions. Price per gallon is very reasonable.

Wonderful company to deal with. I just got a tank from them in Brodheadsville where I live. Super cheap pricing and they offer so many different benefits my old supplier didn't have.

Left another gas company because I was treated like a number and a dollar sign, this company is no different. Didn't receive refund for gas left in tank as promised , first said it was because of the free 50 gallons of propane I received for switching to there company. When I questioned this they changed it to a service fee for picking up tank. No refund. Beware of hidden fees

We just moved to PA a year ago and after getting recommendations from neighbors, chose Heller Gas for our propane. I can’t say enough about their customer service and expert technicians. When we recently ran into an issue, they came right out and worked on the problem and made sure everything was perfect. The technician explained everything he did in layman terms so we understood what was done. I highly recommend Heller if you are in the market for a propane company.

worst, worst ,worst customer service I have ever experienced i have been using this company for years both for my home and business! they changed my tanks at my business to a smaller tank, the excess propane I already paid for, they took with them and told me "your remaining propane will be delivered when your tank needs filling until your already paid for propane is depleted." Ok no problem. now when I need it they tell me my already paid for propane has EXPIRED. What? How does something expire if it's already paid for? Then they try to give a credit for a 1/3 of what I paid for. ABSOLUTE NONSENSE, They should be ashamed of themselves. If you value customer service then this is not the company for you. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere

Heller's installed a tank for our oven. Turns out we had a leak because they installed the line improperly - fine, things happen. A few months later, a second, brand new tank shows up on our property with no communication, and almost $400 is taken out of our bank account without telling us. My husband immediately called them asking why, and they said because we used so much gas, they were doing us a favor by adding a second tank (that we did not ask for). We reminded them that the reason why we went through so much gas was because of the gas leak due to the faulty installation from their installers. We had them come and remove the tank from our property because it was completely unnecessary. They refused to give us our money back and put it into a credit account though. But they started sending us bills for delivery charges without using the credits available (almost $400 worth). We called and they said that had to be used for another service??? Then they told us that the credits expire in December of 2023. It's July and we barely use our stove at all in the summer, so there's no way we'll go through that much money. I don't understand how it's legal to take money without communication and refuse to give it back. What if that money needed to go towards childcare or groceries? This is straight-up theft.

Heller's Gas served me for over 5 years and during that time I gave them feedback twice about being considerate and respecting one's property.This feedback is around the last fill up and subsequent removal. The propane is not used for anything except a fireplace that was used only for esthetics and therefore rarely used. During the routine service, they filled it up, stating it was empty by using the level meter (affixed inside the tank). I fail to believe this, but a bill is a bill and I don't track how much propane was actually used on a regular basis. After they filled it up, I immediately closed off the main valve. At some point later, I asked them to remove the tank. I was expecting credit for a full tank, but what ensued was about $55 (10gal) shy of my expectations. Keep in mind they charged ~$155 to remove the tank and they didn't use the level meter in the tank to determine the credit, but a scale. Using these two different systems is counterintuitive as the level meter was always used to charge me.The consistency and service with such a prominent company was not there for me. I am tired of giving them feedback for things people should have learned as a kid. So this is my final feedback along with the VP of client services/sales should learn to be considerate when acting as a representative for Heller's Gas.

Switched to Hellers a while ago and was very impressed with the company. They came out to fix an issue with a tank in a very quick and timely manner. Any concerns you have they take seriously and are willing to come up with a quick resolution. Very polite and professional customer service

These people are absolute crooks.Had them for a few years, but just recently cut off all services.They sent out their crew to do some “maintenance” unannounced and when we told them we didn’t call nor need anything done to our tanks, they left and charged us $75! When we inquired why we were being billed they said it was a “service fee” for having the guys come out.Then up on cancelling services they told us we were not getting a refund and that the amount was going towards “cancellation” services.Total waste of time and money and extremely unprofessional. Do not use them unless you want secret charges they try to justify!

I have one of there tanks for my generator only. Because of the low use they charge me $225.00 a year. They never told me this. I think is over charge just to rent there tankl.

Extremely poor customer service with majorly overpriced propane! They fail to comprehend that propane is a commodity that is priced on the open market. Heller charged me $5.99 / gallon. Despite contacting customer service they basically said this was their price. My account was immediately cancelled. Their competitor (H&K-the best out there!) only charged me $1.99 / gallon! Don't waste your time with Heller Gas. They are a rip off. Further, Heller claims you will get a refund for what's left in the tank ... trust me you will NOT! Heller will come up with a bunch of bogus fee's to make sure they pay you nothing! Based on the price they charged me, Heller STOLE about $215 from me by claiming BS fee's. Lesson learned. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Heller's. They are honest and reliable. They have excellent customer service. I have to mention a service rep , Mike Eaton, who was very knowledgeable, professional and helped me in every way possible. If you are looking for a propane company look no longer, get Heller's!
