“This is a MUST stop whenever you go to Mount Joy. (or ROOTS, {rhymes with foots, not boots} on Tuesdays. Great choice of meat, chicken, and pork. The Apple Maple sausage is perfect for a Sunday brunch. I don't want to talk about the Chicken Cordon Blue, because, everybody will love it and they won't have any left when I go there. Check out their cheese spreads, too. Most important of all.... everyone who works behind the counter, treats you like an old friend and they are always happy. Must be a great place to work.”
“So I go in today and get Mortadella, hot cappy, provolone cheese from South Philly to make my Muffaletta Italian sub. Only missing is the Olive spread. When I asked where it was located in the store they looked at me like I was from Mars.
Italian card promptly removed. It is a good store and a main stay for years but I believe some Irishman bought it out years ago .”

“Great local family-owned butcher shop with large fresh selection. Chicken breasts are fresh and great for marinating and free in at home. Famous ham loaf available fresh or frozen. Bratwurst is authentic and best around. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Loyal customer base. Highly recommend.”
