Most DG are dirty, and the staff is Rude. But to my Surprise I was Amazed at the pleasant atmosphere when coming to this DG. The restroom were even clean. These Ladies deserve to be Rewarded for the hard work they do. This is officially my new DG. Thanks so much, ladies, for a Wonderful experience.

Don’t go here and need cash back! I got $60 worth of stuff went to use my card and get $10 back asked for two 5 dollar bills and they told me “this isn’t a bank”. I said could you do ones and a five? she said no we need our small bills go to a bank. So I voided my entire order. I could see if I was asking for $100 in 5s but I asked for 2 five dollar bills. Absolutely insane. Not to mention I couldn’t get to some of the stuff I needed because the big metal carts were in the way, however I will say the guy that was there did move them and gave me some paper plates of his choosing.

Rude customer service, picking and choosing how to enforce company policies that don't exist!I stopped in to purchase a visa gift card and a birthday card. Upon approaching the cash register, the male cashier said visa gift cards are cash only. I responded even if I'm use my debit card? A older blond hair lady said cash only of customers we don't know. She continued to explain the previous gift card purchased before me that she was a regular. I have shopped at the Hanover store, the other Elizabethtown DG and the one in Mount Joy. I asked for company policy that indicated what she was telling me. She refused to provide. So I will take all my purchase needs elsewhere.

Went in and looked around it was the first time i was ever there! Male Employee was very rude to me i got a milk then found the tea and coffees i sat the milk in the tea fridge right where i was standing because its milk while i looked at the coffee! The employee stormed over ripped the door open grabbed the milk then slammed the door then put it back so i put everything back and said im calling corporate so he yelled and followed me out of the store saying i was lying and leaving the milk there! Then got in a shouting match with me. Calling me a lier! I will never come back and with my multiple friends local friends on facebook im telling them to stay away and corporate will be called!

Fresh produce is rotten. The manager thinks everyone is stealing. Stealing what? Rotten corn on cob and watermelon? There products are misleading at best and food poisoning at worst.

Wife went use a digital store coupon and then a manufacturers coupon for the same product. The register then took off the $2 digital coupon without giving her the other $2 and didn't want to give her the paper coupon back. Dollar General digital coupons are a scam.

Everytime I try to go in last hour they are closed. I work all day at a restaurant and it's on my way home in etown. And they are never open til 10 like it says.
