DANGER I feel their INCOMPETENT and/or FRAUD. I purchased (top dollar, my bust) a used Chevy 4x4 with one year warranty. Salesman (John, 4 star) stated vehicle "would have no problem traveling to NYC, Chicago and the 4x4 on my driveway ". The 4x4 failed immediately. When notified the service rep stated "they didn't know what the (blue) blinking 4x4 light ment". " Bring it back in a few months". The AC failed after a week. Eats a qt of oil a month. Idles rough. Rear differential blew. 2nd key didn't work, service rep stated " I could buy one at Batteries store". All within apx 30 days. Declined to provide complete warranty or registration. They did replace an AC button. DANGER DANGER DANGER

"NOT Recommending my friends & Family"
I have different experience buying my 2017 Chevrolet traverse, in this February 2024. After buying it within 48 hours I have found some problems & want to return/exchange the vehicle, called to finance guy Ryan but he said if I do so, I will loose my 8k down payment! & Want to cancel my extended warranty but not succeeded!(1st frustation) Next I have decided to keep the vehicle and took it to repair at the service department, they fixed it. I was busy in my job going and coming back & forth, one day was raining I'm going to the job- in the middle of the highway AC stops working! (2nd frustration)?
Next I have to call again to the service department to fix it, then they gave me an appointment, on the appointment day I took it and they look at it and found that ac cooling is very low, need to empty everything and refill back, unfortunately my extended warranty doesn't cover that & I have paid $269 (3rd frustration) ?
# Never buy extended warranty if you are buying a used vehicle!
# To cancel my extended warranty I have called more than 16 times within 2 months, finance guy never return call back never respond to voice calls, WORST experience buying family SUV in 12 year of business!

I want to start by thanking Casey, he was extremely helpful and take the time to listen to me and my boyfriend about the issues we’ve had… HOWEVER, the rest of the place is a nightmare. My boyfriend and I purchased a 2008 Volkswagen R32 from here. Within the first month we noticed that the transmission was slipping. I contacted John, who sold us the car regarding the transmission, but I was disregarded, saying that the service center never put anything in the pre delivery inspection notes. (Now why would the service center note this if they never fixed it?) Despite buying a power train warranty (which the dealer states would cover a slipping transmission or DCT clutch pack.)Casey provided us for a loaner while they “diagnosed it” (aka hooking it up to an OBD scanner). I was then told it had a bad ECU, and needed a crank position sensor, both of which I was told would “probably not” be covered under warranty, therefore any further diagnoses or repairs, I may have to pay for. We had the car for eight months, and drove it occasionally. I understand the vehicle is older, but there is no reason that it should completely fall apart in said timeframe. We were sold a lemon.

Ok- if you don't like long horror stories, move along. Otherwise, buckle up buttercup, it's about to go down. Context, my husband and I are in our early 30s and just purchased our first home. We moved from MD to PA in August of 2023. The day we left the signing table, we drove to Elizabethtown, PA and purchased a new vehicle.So... we knew what kind of vehicle we wanted so when we came in, we let our sales person, Eric, know and he went to grab the car. My husband and I had to use our Maryland drivers licenses to do the application, as we had not obtained our Pennsylvania licenses yet. Little did we know, that was going to f us in the end.Fast-forward a few days. Eric called me to ask if I had gotten the car Maryland inspected so that they could register it in Maryland. I went to a Maryland inspection station and the inspector told me that it was not necessary to get the MD inspection as I had established residence and insurance in PA, when we bought the car. Eric spoke to the inspector over the phone and still said I needed to do the inspection. I called my insurance company and they also advised to not register the car in Maryland because we have our insurance set up in Pennsylvania; in other words, an insurance violation.Eric was obviously not helpful from this point, so I escalated the situation to the "general manager," Tim McCord.Take a breath. This is where it gets wild and why I would give negative stars if I could. After many back and forth emails and phone calls, with many unhelpful and inconstructive words from the manager, we drove over an hour and a half to speak to him in person. I came in to the dealership and Tim was sitting at his throne of a desk. I approached him and told him that it was of incredible importance that I get my car registered and plates issued for PA because my temp tags were expired. He told me there was literally nothing he could do, despite the info I was given from the Maryland MVA and PennDOT. Both of those agencies advised that the dealership was responsible for issuing the proper tags and registration.Tim started calling other people that work at another dealership partnered with his. The title clerk woman, who was nasty and that I previously spoke to prior to my roadtrip, was the person that Tim called and warned her that I was coming to that dealership, per HIS recommendation. They were both very nasty and unaccomidating to my simple requests.Ultimately both my husband and I were "black listed" from calling the dealerships at all and told that the corporate office of Ford told them they were no longer allowed to speak to us. The receptionist would literally hang up on my calls. I called the ford corporate office to ask if my contact with the dealership and Tim was prohibited. The very nice lady with customer care at Ford told me that they would NEVER advise a dealership to break contact with a customer, especially with unresolved paperwork.Long story short, it is now December 5th and I am just NOW getting my title so that I can register my car and drive legally... 4 months later. It has been an absolutely EXHAUSTING and FRUSTRATING experience. I will never, for what it's worth, recommended this joke of a dealership for your car buying needs. The manager literally does nothing to help, lies, cheats, and steals (happiness). Do not do it. Especially if you are moving into the state. They obviously do not know how to handle that type of transaction.Oh, and I forgot to mention that the only reason I have the title now is because I called the MVA again and requested a duplicate title. Otherwise the original would be mailed to the incorrect address and thus, rejected and sent back. That would push my delivery date another 2 weeks. So, I paid the $20 and got my title. Now I'm off to spend more money registering and titling my car in PA! Hooray.Take heed all you car buying adventurers, steer clear. There be murky waters ahead.

From the first hello to the final handshake and driving away in our new truck, the experience was stellar. Both Casey and Matt made us feel very welcome and are very knowledgeable about the vehicles we came to look at. I would recommend Hondru of E Town to anyone looking for an enjoyable vehicle shopping experience.
