Terrible customer service. I've never seen so many people that hate their jobs. Both branches, Elizabethtown and Mt Joy are like this. Its truly mind boggling that they treat their customers like this. The difference between Union National and Northwest is night and day different. I will be closing my accounts as soon as I find a bank that appreciates their customers not treat them dirt. Edit: I was with Union National for 35 years.

The staff is fine but the bank itself is horrible. Allowed a fraudulent transaction to go through out of DC that threw my account into a negative balance. My account has declined any previous transactions I don't haven enough money for and a few purchases got flagged on my last vacation a few hours from home, but somehow it allowed this transaction to go through with no problem. The app also isn't great. Very buggy and limited as fat as what you can do. Will be closing my account as soon as this dispute is finalized.

Move your money and do not use this bank. Since takeover for union community this place is terrible. No understanding even during COVID-19. Fees and overdraft fees without missing a beat

Highly unethical bank. Like others, I inherited this bank when they bought up the local bank. They're a banking institution with over $9 billion in assets, yet they're too cheap to build a decent electronic banking system. Instead, they bought some website from another company, and use this as an excuse for when the online banking shows the wrong amounts, or doesn't show transactions until 3-5 business days have passed.Additionally, they have charges that are hidden on their website, and claim that it isn't possible to place them somewhere visible, because the company they pay to build the website won't do it for them. When they provide poor service or make a mistake, representatives typically don't apologize; they merely provide excuses why technically they're not obligated to fix problems that they cause.Do yourself a favor. Bank elsewhere.

I Just closed my account at northwest!! Northwest bank bought out my bank Union Community and it is not the same. Ive been very unhappy with Northwest. My experience was at the Centerville branch location not Elizabeth to be clear. I was with Union Community since I was a child, unfortunately I need a new bank that put their customers first!

Great Service from Friendly Staff. The people always say hello and are very helpful. Competitive Rates compared to surrounding banks. Easy in and out compared to old location. They offer all services not just normal checking and savings.

I don't normally write reviews, but I just wanted to express how thankful I have been for the excellent customer service provided by Katie B. at Union Community Bank Elizabethtown. I needed some paperwork for my acct and every time I called she was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for me.

Quick and easy to open accounts, and many convenient locations. I like the fact that this is not a multi-state mega bank. I hope it stays that way for a long time.

Poor communication between bank and customer. Took them over 13 days for them to reach me, via letter, to tell me my account was over drawn. Meanwhile they're charging me a daily overdrawn fee. It's an account I rarely use. Closing the account.

My husband had been using this bank since before we were married, and I stopped using Wells Fargo so we could both use Union. It is by far the worst bank I have ever used. I currently use Navy Federal Credit Union, but had accounts with Union so I had a location near me where I could deposit checks, talk to people face-to-face, etc. I just tried to transfer money from my Union account to my NFCU account, and after being bounced around on the phone for over an hour, they finally told me there was NO WAY to external transfers at all. I was appalled. I have never been told that before from any bank. Their website is unhelpful and their telephone system is inefficient. At least their customer service representatives are respectful and helpful. Or at least they try. We will be getting another bank as soon as possible.
