“Max and his team were excellent and efficient. Before they arrived, we had a rate estimate set up with them. When they arrived Max began discussing potentially increase and decrease depending on hours, which I took as a bad sign but was quickly proven wrong. Max made a point to be transparent and communicate very thoroughly every step of the way. In the end we paid less than we were originally quoted and received above and beyond service. The team was also able to work around tough parking situations at both locations after our police permit officer never showed up to help. “I was very happy with my moving experience with BR Moving. Based on reviews, I contacted three companies for bids for my long distance move to State College. Owner John came to review my pieces in person, including complicated artwork and large bar cabinet (known as “the beast”), reviewed doorways and stairwells, thoroughly explained options and gave the most competitive bid. One other company came to review, but did not thoroughly review my building nor explain other services, and their bid was $2800 higher. The third company wanted me to do a video instead of coming to see my project and gave me a bid that was $3200 mor than BR. Based on options explained, I chose to pack up my non-breakable personal property and clothing, but had BR pack my artwork, fine china and stemware, and all breakables. The moving team, headed by Harry, were courteous and respectful of items and genuinely pleasant through the whole process. I highly recommend this company!!”

“I’ve used this company once before to move a few things from my sister’s house to mine and I had a good experience then but this time I had a much bigger and much more complicated move because I was moving from Woodbury, NJ to Levittown, PA and I also had to have some furniture taken to my daughter’s apartment, then have other things taken to my sister’s house and then they had to take all the rest to my new place but in addition to all of that, my sister had a sleeper sofa that she wanted to give me after they took everything she wanted to her place. I asked them if they could do all of these things ahead of time and they said they could do that. I was moving from a 1 bedroom house to another one bedroom place but I had a LOT of stuff that I inherited from my mother that I didn’t have time to pack even though I had packed every day all day long for over a month. I was still frantically packing when they came. There were 4 movers. They were punctual, professional and friendly. They worked hard and fast. They got 6 bookshelves and other miscellaneous items packed in very little time. They dropped off the stuff that my daughter wanted at her place, took the things my sister wanted at her place, then picked up the sleeper sofa from my sister’s house and took it to mine. I was worried about how they would get that big bulky sofa into my door because the sofa was thick, heavy and they didn’t have much clearance to work with. I had measured ahead of time and it was going to be a very tight fit. My boyfriend told me not to worry. He said they’ll just take the legs off but it turns out that the legs don’t come off so they had to take the door off the hinges. They were determined to get it in there for me. They put the door back on after they brought everything else in and reassembled everything. They managed to keep everything very close to the original estimate. Fast forward 30 days and I’m finally all unpacked, most everything has been put away and I’m pleased and relieved to say that nothing was broken or lost. My only complaint is since I have so many electronics and they took out all the plugs for practically everything, it is very hard for me to figure out which plug goes to what item. I wish they just kept the plug into or at least with the item that it goes to.
If I ever have to move again it will be too soon. I absolutely hate moving but if I ever do have to move again, I intend to use this company again if they’re still around by then. .”

I was referred to them by a good friend of mine. I wanted to thank Laurie the owner for scheduling our move and making sure everything was lined up for the day of our move. We were living there for 36 years and it was bittersweet leaving the area that I loved so much and relocating to our home down the shore. Don stayed on site to make sure everything ran smoothly.
