Jen is absolutely wonderful and VERY patient. She has done wonders to help me gain back some of my confidence (its an ever going work in progress) after some bad spills while horse shopping before coming to her barn. My gelding loves her, her kids, her dogs (much to my dismay... I worry for the dogs, my horse is too friendly and thinks they want to play), and all the lesson kids beyond belief.

At first meeting seemed very busy which is a good thing. I would never take away how great that is. However, she was distracted. I waited patiently for her to finish teaching a lesson, mind you her dogs were in the ring running loose in front of horses approaching jumps in the lesson and her daughter was outside the ring standing under the ringside tree on the picnic table swinging the crop in the branches. The brand new pony on the farm could have gotten startled and dumped the young girl riding it but it was a Saint. I still gave her the benefit of the doubt because I thought the farm offered some good things. The outdoor ring is huge, the round pen a good thing and she was recommended. Fast forward we committed to me moving in. Moving in day came after I had given notice to vacate at my present barn and she never showed up nor her husband or a lady she said helps her. They completely forgot me. It wasn't until I reached out to proclaim what the heck?? I had just spoken to her the afternoon before that all of a sudden the I forgot, forgot to pick you up it's been a bad week excuses, my son had my phone all day ( arent kids in school right now?)excuses came in thus and that were happening excuses came in. It seems she might want to invest in a barn manager to keep her on track with vet appointments, riding lessons when she has to teach and other things before she looses her business all together. Good thing my present stall hadn't been promised out to someone else ready. Bad business practices and too much going on, maybe overwhelmed and can't handle it all is what is happening but I will find another barn that appreciates my money.
