The staff at the Emmaus, PA post office were fantastic! They provided great customer service and handled my mail order baby chicks with care and attention about 6 weeks ago. Everything arrived safely, and I was notified promptly. I really appreciated their kindness and professionalism. Thank you!

I can't figure out why it takes Emmaus USPS overnight to send a letter on its way.

Someone put a package in my mailbox and they are trying to make me pay postage. The supervisor was very rude. I was told to pay or return the package. They want over 10 dollars to drive it less then 4 miles. Postmaster would not come out they said he was in a meeting. What a sad day for american.

This is a delivery experience: I have never seen a package more damaged than this one. These are CDs, which are very hard to damage in the mail in a padded package. However, three CDs came and all were bent and broken. The outside packaging was ripped in the inside contents damaged beyond use. I find this pretty unacceptable. Although I’m sure it did not happen in a mess, it happened somewhere in the mail chain and should’ve been noted before it got to me. Thanks for listening.

If your in the area and you don't mind a bit of hustle & bustle you will find that this office doesn't mind accomplishing several shipping tasks simultaneously & yet still always delivering a friendly smile along the way.

Just had a lovely conversation with Joe at the Emmaus Post Office that devolved into him yelling at me for trying to figure out where my package is. It tried to deliver to a business after hours (I ordered a firearm and it needs to be shipped to a FFL) and rather than the postal worker just leaving a note at the business saying the FFL could pick it up at the post office, I just have a tracking status from two days ago saying it would redeliver the next day. What good is redelivering going to do when they always get there after the business is closed? Why can't they just hold it at the post office like they're supposed to? Why was there no note left? Why hasn't the package been scanned back in at the post office for two days? Those questions resulted in Joe raising his voice on the phone, saying it's not my package and to have the recipient get in touch with them. Complete unprofessionalism because of his lack of knowledge and understanding. It's nothing new to have a firearm sent, in YOUR name, to a business. In fact it's the law here in PA. And I know for a fact this isn't the first time this post office has received firearms because the FFL dealer I'm using said he goes to the post office all the time to pick up packages like this. Not sure where the confusion is coming from, but treating a customer like that is beyond ridiculous, especially when it's because of your post office's own ineptitude in handling packages.Best part is, I called this same post office yesterday and once I explained the situation, I was told they would hold it there for the FFL to pick it up. I thought I spoke to the same guy, but either I'm mistaken or he's even worse at his job than I thought.

I'd give zero stars if I could! But my rating is off of the actions of one individual, who apparently is very rude to others as well, and not the office itself as a whole.I stopped to say merry christmas to another carrier while he was loading his truck, and Rural carrier, Thomas R Ossman, approached my vehicle and gave my 10 year old daughter the middle finger, with both hands!Went inside and talked to postmaster, who said I should stay away from him, and that he'd talk to this carrier. The carrier approached my vehicle! I wasn't even on the property! But if I react to him doing this, then the cops would be called on me. What's wrong with this world? He should be disciplined! Guess he feels good flipping off a 10 year old in an aggressive manner. Takes a real man to do that to a child! Really pissed off by this! Any father would be in that situation. Nothing will be done to this carrier, at all, that's the messed up part of all this. No accountability or discipline! At least I got to show my daughter how to react to people like this! I lead by example. I teach my daughter how to be a good person, perhaps someone should teach this carrier some manners. My daughter is more mature than this Rural carrier will ever be. I could say more, but I'll leave it at that. But if you ever see this rural carrier, Thomas R Ossman, in Emmaus, ask him if he feels like a man flipping off a 10 year old child aggressively.
