Dollar Tree is a store where everything costs one dollar, offering items needed for daily living. Many customers find it a nice place with products of good quality, and the store is generally kept clean and decently stocked. However, some note the quality of products has gone down and that shelves can be empty, often because stacks of boxes are left in the aisles, making the store feel in transition and difficult to navigate. Staffing issues can lead to long lines. While many staff members are described as pleasant and helpful, experiences with management and cashiers vary. Some customers report encounters with rude cashiers or managers arguing loudly in front of customers, which can be embarrassing. Overall, it is viewed as a normal dollar store where service is not the primary focus.
The new price situation is confusing at times [previously it was all $1...then all $1.25...then. a few frozen food prices changed....now....a flurry of prices like a regular store]
I always find stuff I need! [And interesting stuff I don't]

There's lots I like about Dollar Tree. But the wait time to check out can be inconvenient. Today I stopped for a balloon, so I hunted for the end of the serpentine line, and waited. There was 1 cashier, and about 8 people ahead of me in line. It would be a much better experience if wait time would be halved.

How can you go wrong at Dollar Tree? They still have a great selection of items for $1.25. I got everything I was looking for. The clerk was kind and helpful.
